Hallmark is headed to the Windy City! The network has announced which NFL team will be at the center of its next Holiday Touchdown romance movie. Drumroll please… It’s the Chicago Bears!
Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson and tight end Colston Loveland helped hype up the upcoming Holiday Touchdown movie with a special video. “My wife, Jessica, and I will definitely be tuning in for this one,” Coach Johnson said in the video.
“After the tremendous success of our first two Holiday Touchdown movies, we knew we wanted to continue the tradition by partnering with another iconic NFL franchise and fan base. The Chicago Bears have a rich history, passionate supporters, and a culture that extends far beyond the football field, making them a perfect fit for a heartwarming holiday story,” Darren Abbott, President, Hallmark Media, said in a statement. “We can’t wait for audiences to experience this story and celebrate the passion and spirit that bring Bears fans together.”

Hallmark hasn’t set an official premiere date for Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story, but it will likely follow the previous Holiday Touchdown films and air in November. The past Holiday Touchdown movies have premiered around Thanksgiving.
Production is set to kick off this summer. The movie will be shot on location in and around Chicago.

After the success of the first movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story premiered a year later as the second film in the franchise.
