No, Evert is not in a relationship. In 2017, she spoke to People about her decision to remain single by choice.
“I am not dating anybody, and I am not looking,” she shared. “I needed to be alone for five or six years to find peace in my heart. I had to learn how to rely on myself and not on other people. I really needed to be by myself.”
Who were Chris Evert’s husbands?
Evert’s first husband was John Lloyd, a British tennis player. They tied the knot in 1979. The two separated after Evert had an affair with Adam Faith, but they eventually got back together. However, they ultimately divorced in 1987.
“I went into a world that was way out of my league,” Lloyd admitted. “I think I had a little bit of preparation, but I wasn’t the same as being married to a world star who was famous beyond belief. You don’t think of it at the time and then you go to places. When you marry someone who’s as famous as that, you have to swallow your ego and leave it a door, the front door. There were times when I was referred to Mr. Evert, and all that sort of stuff.”
Lloyd also said he felt he and Evert were “too young” to be married and shared that they spent too much time apart due to their demanding tennis schedules. “I think if we were married 10 years later, I think we might have had a shot,” he revealed. Today, the exes live 20 minutes away from each other and “see each other occasionally.”‘

One year after her divorce from Lloyd, Evert married Andy Mill, a downhill skier (Navratilova introduced them). The pair split in 2006 after nearly 20 years of marriage, and their divorce was finalized later that year.
In 2008, Evert married Greg Norman, an Australian golfer. Their relationship was short-lived, and they separated just over a year later. That divorce was finalized in December 2009.
Before her first marriage, Evert was also engaged to tennis star Jimmy Connors, but they broke up before their wedding, which was scheduled for November 1974.
Does Chris Evert have kids?
Yes, Evert has three children. She shares her three sons (Alexander, born in 1991, Nicholas, born in 1994, and Colton, born in 1996) with Mill, her second husband. Evert is also a grandmother to Nicholas’ son, who was born in 2024.
