While Thomas lives in Long Beach, California, Paula is from São Paulo, Brazil. At the start of the season, Paula and all of her mini manifestation objects moved into Thomas’ nearly barren apartment. Are Paula and Thomas still together?
As of Episode 7, Paula and Thomas are still going strong. Off-screen, the couple appears to still be together as well. On May 24, Thomas shared a video of his and Paula’s engagement, writing, “I would like to share that Paula and I are engaged! Here is the moment when I proposed to her in Brazil at 5am during a beautiful sunrise on the beach. Out of nowhere, @fefe and her friends rushed in to celebrate with us. I had no idea they would be joining us during this incredible moment but I’m glad they were just as excited as I was when Paula said yes!”
In the comments, Paula indicated that they are very much still in love today, writing, “A memorable day! The best surprise ever. I am so glad that God allows us to found each other in this planet, in this life! I love you so much, thank you for being my love – te amo.” If you ask us, this means that they’re still together (or at least they were in May.)

When did Paula and Thomas meet?
Paula and Thomas met at a beach volleyball class while she was visiting California, days after Thomas had moved to the state. According to Thomas, he and Paula hit it off right away, leading him to believe that they could be more than friends. Not wanting to ruin the blossoming friendship, Thomas didn’t make a move. For years, they were pen pals until something shifted that Thomas “couldn’t ignore.”
Thomas told viewers, “I went down to Brazil, and I was like, ‘Hey, Paula. Is there anything between us? Can we have like a romance?'” Paula, who was shocked, revealed that she had a boyfriend. Once Paula and that boyfriend broke up, around 2021, Thomas and Paula went from friends to lovers.
When did Paula and Thomas get engaged?
While Thomas posted a video of their engagement in May, it appears that the duo actually got engaged in 2023. On January 1, 2o23, Paula shared their engagement video, writing, “I always dreamed of having a boyfriend exactly like you but I didn’t think it would happen to me for real! It felt more like a crazy fantasy in my head. So the universe prepared you, much better than I ever imagined!”
She continued, “Thank you for waiting for me 3 years, thank you for being the best boyfriend in the world! When I’m with you I forget about everything, you are my dream materialized! Now my fiancéee omg!!! I looove you, Thomas Dintino and yes, I said yesss!”
