‘Battle on the Beach’: All About Josiah & Anna Julian’s Relationship
Battle on the Beach Season 5 is well underway. One of the teams this season is a married couple, Josiah Julian and Anna Julian. They have teamed up with mentor Mika Kleinschmidt on the HGTV series.

Who are Josiah and Anna Julian?
Anna and Josiah, who got married in 2019, run the company Renorowhome, where they buy, renovate, and then rent out homes in the Baltimore area. Their journey in the home renovation space began in 2018 when Anna bought a row home in Baltimore and began fixing it up with DIY tips she learned.
While Anna and Josiah don’t have any formal construction background, they used tips from Google and YouTube to get started. Now, they have a lucrative rental business in Baltimore.
After renovating their first row home, they started their landlord careers by renting out just a room, and have now upgraded to renting out full properties. They have since expanded to homes outside of Baltimore, as well.
Since Josiah and Anna often document their projects on social media, they have become content creators, as well, with more than 30,000 followers on their Instagram page.
What are Josiah and Anna Julian’s jobs?
When Josiah and Anna aren’t pursuing their flipping and real estate ventures, they both have jobs to tend to. He is a physical education teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools and has held the position since 2020, per LinkedIn. He previously worked as a sales and service representative at PNC from 2018 to 2020.
Meanwhile, Anna works in marketing.
Do Josiah and Anna Julian have kids?
Yes, Josiah and Anna are parents to a daughter named Layna. The baby was born at some point in November or December 2024.

The couple announced Anna’s pregnancy in August 2024 while giving a “speed tour” of a home they had been spending three years renovating. In the video, they shared sonogram photos and noted that Anna was six months pregnant in the caption. “The big reveal,” they wrote. “3 years in the making & 6 months in the making!”
