In the fall, the streamer will add another to its growing catalog: French-language TV series Campus Drivers. Season 1 is centered on Lois (Carmen Kassovitz) and Lane (Baptiste Masseline) while introducing us to their circle at Belrose University. Lois and Lane’s romance — which features forced proximity, bad boy/good girl, and more top-notch tropes — is the subject of author C.S. Quill’s Fast Lane. The following books in the series focus on Lane’s friends, who help him run a ride-share business on campus. Most have been translated to English, if you want to start reading now!

What is Campus Drivers‘ premiere date?
Fans of the books were well fed while filming took place last fall and winter, with Quill and the cast frequently sharing behind-the-scenes content. Months later, Prime Video finally shared that Season 1 has a November 2026 release window. A specific date and episode count have yet to be revealed, though the streamer typically releases new shows in an all-at-once, eight-episode drop.

What is Campus Drivers about?
Lois Hogan follows her longtime boyfriend, Max (Enzo Lorente), to Belrose University, where she becomes neighbors with guarded, popular bad boy Lane O’Neill. When Max breaks her heart, Lane offers up his couch to Lois, who has nowhere else to go. As roommates, their attraction to each other becomes impossible to ignore. Who is in the Campus Drivers cast?

Lane has three best friends, and should the show continue past Season 1, they could become leads. Madior Fall (Love Me Love Me) is Donovan, who is the main character of the second book, Crash Course. Esteban Vial is Lewis, the focus of the third book, Test Drive. Last but not least, Félix Nebel plays Adam. He’s one of the core four boys who doesn’t have a book.

How many Campus Drivers books are there?
There are five books total in the series. Three have been translated to English so far, so if you aren’t fluent in French, you can read Lane, Donovan, and Lewis’ stories. The fourth book, Love Machine, moves the story to Miami when the Campus Drivers partner with a new business. It focuses on new characters Rafael and Juliet. The fifth, Good Luke, also takes place in Miami, but switches focus to characters Tory and Luke.
