Who Is ‘Nation’s Dumbest’ Host Jack Whitehall’s Wife? All About His Love Life
Comedian Jack Whitehall has been dabbling in hosting over the last few years, and he’s continuing that on Fox’s new game show Nation’s Dumbest. The series features Whitehall putting celebrity contestants through elementary-level quizzes and challenges, with the cast hoping to be eliminated before they’re declared the “nation’s dumbest.”
The role allows Whitehall to show off his comedic timing by mocking the celebrity contenders, while introducing him to a brand-new audience of viewers who may want to know more about his life off-camera. That includes his romantic history and relationship with wife Roxy Horner. Scroll down below to learn more about Jack Whitehall’s relationship with Roxy Horner, their past romances, and more.
Who is Roxy Horner?
Horner is a British model. She started modeling when she was just 17 years old and has worked with Victoria’s Secret, Pandora, and more brands.
How did Jack Whitehall meet Roxy Horner?
Whitehall met Horner during a trip to Australia in 2020 (she was living there at the time). Since Whitehall didn’t live in the area, he asked for restaurant recommendations from locals for somewhere to take the model on their first date. The place he chose wound up being decorated with taxidermy ducks, and since Horner is a vegan, which Whitehall didn’t know at the time, she was put off.
However, the relationship continued after that, and after three dates, he invited her to come visit him in London. While she was visiting, the COVID-19 lockdown hit, which meant the two were quickly forced to live together.
“We were suddenly in a sort of house share with my brother and his partner,” Whitehall told The Guardian. “It was quite a surreal way to start a relationship.”
Whitehall proposed to Horner in December 2024, and the two tied the knot in April 2026 at Euridge Manor.
What was Roxy Horner diagnosed with?
Horner was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2021. She received her diagnosis after collapsing backstage at the BRIT Awards, which Whitehall was hosting.
“I had been speaking to the doctors about how unwell I had been feeling,” Horner told Marie Claire UK. “I remember a specific phone call I made to my doctor before I ended up in hospital. I was in bed for days crying just feeling awful and not knowing why. I just felt like I was going to die. I ended up taking myself to A&E in the end, which is where I was diagnosed.”
Did Roxy Horner date Leonardo DiCaprio?
Horner and Leonardo DiCaprio were never officially in a relationship, but they were spotted out together twice in 2016. The first was in February in London, followed by a cozy outing at New York City’s Serendipity 3 two months later.
“She was definitely with him, she was holding on to his arm. They were affectionate,” a source told People at the time.
In now-deleted tweets, Horner denied the romance. “You can’t have a friend in the industry without people assuming it’s more than that it’s a joke,” she wrote. Per People. “FYI we all went our separate ways home, as friends do.”

In 2020, Whitehall opened up about the breakup in his Netflix series, Travels With My Father. “I f**ked up my chance of that,” he told his mother. “I did. I could have gotten married, but I messed it up.”
As for the reason for the split, Whitehall said during one of his comedy shows, “I’ve had a lot of changes in my life recently. I’m single now. I was in a relationship; it broke down. It was not gonna work. It was a long-distance relationship, not geographically, just in terms of our expectations. She wanted kids now, whereas I wanted to escape. I’m not good with kids.”
