After Baylen Dupree‘s wedding to Colin Dooley, the reality star sat down with Swooon to take viewers inside their big day and the personal touches that went into the wedding’s theme. Ahead of the Season 3 two-part finale, Baylen told Swooon that “a lot of heart and soul and hard work” was put into their big day, which she described as “very Baylen-coded.” As she put it, “I’ve never been to a wedding like this before. It was a dream come true.”
Baylen and Colin got married on May 9, 2026, at the Airlie in Warrenton, Virginia. Season 3 of Baylen Out Loud, which premiered on May 19, has covered all of their wedding prep, from their joint bachelor and bachelorette party in Asheville, North Carolina, to their last-minute decision to change their wedding location.
During the season, viewers got to see Baylen’s custom-designed dresses by Hayley Page for both the wedding and rehearsal dinner. Now, Baylen is thrilled to finally discuss other personal touches that made the day their own, like their pink decor and queso fountain, which were massive hits with their guests. “I love that my now-husband allowed it all to happen,” she explained. “And just doesn’t give a s**t about what people have to say about my pink dream world. I mean, I got married on a pink stage.”

As for the wedding’s colorful cotton candy theme, Baylen revealed that they have a personal connection to the color palette. “We met on Hinge,” she revealed. “The first conversation we ever had was about what my favorite flavor of ice cream was, and I was like, ‘Cotton candy with rainbow sprinkles,’ and he was like, ‘No way, that’s my favorite.'” She recalled saying, “You’re lying, you’re lying!” Of course, Colin’s love for cotton candy proved just as strong as her own.

“It makes me very happy that that was our first conversation,” Baylen confessed, looking back. “It did take him two times to text me, though, because he asked me the first time what my favorite coffee flavor was, and I was like, ‘I’m not doing this. Not over coffee.'” Over three years later, the first chapter of their love story is front and center on their wedding day.
