Meet ‘Love Is Blind: UK’ Season 3 Breakout Yasmin Toseafa
Welcome back to the pods! No, it’s not Love Is Blind Season 11 just yet. You’ll have to wait a little longer for that. Instead, we’re heading back across the pond for Love Is Blind: UK Season 3, where all the romance, drama, and awkward pod conversations return with a distinctly British twist.
As always, there are love triangles, messy breakups, plenty of NSFW moments, and the inevitable attempts to figure out what someone looks like without ever seeing them. It wouldn’t be Love Is Blind otherwise.
One contestant who has quickly stood out this season is Yasmin Toseafa. Love Is Blind fans have admired her not only for openly embracing her vitiligo, but also for her warm personality and genuine approach to the experiment. It’s no surprise that fans are already rooting for Yasmin to get the happy ending she deserves. Here’s everything you need to know about the Love Is Blind: UK Season 3 star.
Who is Yasmin Toseafa?
Time to meet one of the sweetest women to enter the pods: Yasmin T.

In the pods, Yasmin says she’s looking for “maktoub,” an Arabic term she explains as meaning something that is written for you. Essentially, destiny or fate.
Yasmin has never been in a relationship and has never been in love, something she’s refreshingly open about when getting to know the other singles. She believes her lack of dating experience is partly due to her religious upbringing. Her Ghanaian father and Egyptian-Lebanese mother were protective of her and didn’t approve of boys being around while she was growing up.
Where does Yasmin live?
Yasmin is a born-and-raised London girlie! And that’s more important than it might initially seem, as location plays a surprisingly big role in one of her connections later in the season.
What does Yasmin do for work?
Yasmin works as a physician associate, a trained healthcare professional who provides patient care and practices medicine as part of a medical team under the supervision of a licensed doctor or surgeon.
Her passion for the job is clear in the pods, where she talks about how much she loves helping people, particularly the older patients she cares for.
What condition does Yasmin have?
Yasmin was diagnosed with the skin condition vitiligo when she was eight years old. Vitiligo is a long-term condition in which areas of the skin lose pigment, resulting in pale or white patches. It occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing skin pigment.
Growing up, Yasmin says she initially felt insecure about her condition. Over time, though, she has learned to embrace her appearance rather than hide it. She credits beauty pageants with helping her build confidence, and she has also worked as a model.
Yasmin opened up about her vitiligo to one of her connections in the pods, who responded positively to the news. However, some viewers felt the conversation bent the rules of Love Is Blind, which are designed to prevent contestants from discussing physical appearance before meeting face-to-face. Others compared the moment to Emma Betsinger from Love Is Blind Season 11, who spoke about scarring from having birthmarks removed.
Who did Yasmin connect with in the pods?
Yasmin found her match relatively quickly in the pods. She connected with Jordan, a teacher from Birmingham and former member of the military.

Jordan believes his time in the military held him back from pursuing serious relationships, but now that he’s left, he’s ready to find his person. His parents have never been married, so he hopes to build the kind of lasting relationship he saw between his grandparents.
Family values are a major point of connection for Yasmin and Jordan, giving the pair a strong foundation as they continue to get to know each other through the pods.
Did Yasmin get engaged on Love Is Blind: UK?
Jordan proposed to Yasmin in the pods using a rhyming speech, and she tearfully said yes. It seems she can’t resist a good rhyme.
When they finally met face-to-face, Jordan told her she was “beautiful inside out” and called her “a dream.” Yasmin, meanwhile, was clearly not disappointed by her hot new fiancé.
The pair then headed to Ibiza with the other engaged couples, where they continued to get along well. They also managed to avoid most of the group drama, with their fellow contestants even commenting on how well suited they seemed.
However, Yasmin and Jordan were noticeably taking things more slowly than some of the other couples. They were the only pair who hadn’t yet said “I love you” to each other. Jordan explained that, because this was the first time Yasmin had been in love, he wanted those words to mean something. He said he would only say them once he was certain he wanted to marry her. Yasmin, meanwhile, was beginning to develop stronger feelings but could sense that Jordan wasn’t quite there yet.
Then came the issue of distance. Jordan was based in Birmingham, while Yasmin was a London girl through and through, and he began to question whether they could realistically overcome the geographical divide. He loved his job and didn’t want to move, while he also felt uncomfortable asking Yasmin to relocate to Birmingham after all the hard work she had put into building her career in London.
Yasmin and several of the other women suspected there was more to Jordan’s hesitation than simply the distance. Jordan initially denied this, but eventually admitted that he didn’t feel strongly enough about Yasmin and wasn’t sure he would get to the point of wanting to marry her before the wedding. Ultimately, the pair ended their engagement. Fans are wondering when Yasmin will get the happy ending she deserves.
