‘Totally ’90s House’ Stars Reveal Sabrina Soto’s ‘Huge Crush’ on Brian Austin Green

Brian Austin Green, Jodie Sweetin, and Beverley Mitchell teamed up to take on some fellow 1990s stars on HGTV’s new show Totally 90s House, and they’re being mentored by interior designer Sabrina Soto, who grew up watching them on television.

In fact, she was quite a fan of Green, in particular, the group confirmed to Swooon. (For the record, Soto is happily married now.)

Mitchell joked that Soto and Green had a “tumultuous relationship” on the show, and Green explained, “Apparently, I didn’t know, we were married when she was younger. So, things didn’t end well. I think that’s just part of it.”

Sweetin confirmed that Soto “had a huge crush” on Green, with Mitchell joking, “She was married to him in her mind for quite a few years.” But now that they know each other personally, “He killed any sense of that out of her these days,” Sweetin added.

Green was in on the fun and joked, “Well, I’m a terrible partner, so of course it didn’t work out.”

All jokes aside, the group loved having Soto as their mentor. “She was great,” Mitchell said. “And you know what? The best part about Sabrina is that she was honest. She did not sugarcoat anything. She came in here, and she truly was … she was hard on us, but in the best way. She didn’t just come in being like, ‘Oh yeah, you guys get a free pass. That was really cute. You tried.’ It was like, ‘No, no, no. Think about this. Think about this. Think about this. Did you think about it?'”

Green had to get another rib in on that one. “I would have rather had the free pass,” he laughed.
