Jonathan Bailey Reunites With ‘Bridgerton’ Love Interest at Her Wedding

Sabrina Bartlett‘s Bridgerton character may not have gotten a happy ending with Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), but that isn’t stopping the actors from celebrating Bartlett’s nuptials.

In the midst of Bridgerton Season 5 filming, Bailey — who hasn’t been outright confirmed to reprise his role in the upcoming season yet — took a weekend trip to Italy for Bartlett’s wedding. In Season 1 of the Regency romance, the actress played opera singer Siena Rosso, who had a clandestine relationship with Anthony. They couldn’t be together because of her lower social status, so Siena left Anthony to be with another man.

Despite Bartlett’s departure from the show, it seems bonds formed on the Bridgerton set last off-screen. Bartlett and her now-husband, Australian businessman Lachie Stewart, gathered all of their loved ones in Tuscany, per an August 31 video shared to Instagram by their wedding planner. In one clip, Bailey can be seen making his former costar burst into laughter at the dinner table.

“Friends and family gathered at @lapescaiaresort from England, Australia and beyond for a weekend of big love, long tables, exceptional Italian food, very generous pours of wine, roaming musicians, speeches that had everyone in stitches, and a late-night band and dance floor that kept the party going well into the small hours,” the wedding planner wrote in the caption. “Top-tier banter, plenty of happy tears, and the kind of weekend you wish you could do all over again.”

Further, one of the attendees snapped a photo of Bailey, who wore sunglasses and a black tux, posing next to the happy couple.

Leading up to the weekend, Bartlett shared glimpses of the pre-wedding festivities via social media. The 34-year-old actress, who’s set to appear next in the upcoming musical rom-com From London With Love, announced her engagement in December 2024. She posted photos from the proposal, which took place in Perth, and showed off her diamond engagement ring. “Lach’d In,” she wrote in the caption.
