While six couples with stunning age gaps decided to explore their connections after the Age of Attraction Season 1 singles retreat, five other couples formed on the show who either split before leaving the promise room or found that their partner was squarely within their age range. Now, Swooon‘s breaking down everything you need to know about Age of Attraction‘s off-camera matches and retreat splits!
Age of Attraction premiered on March 11, featuring singles ages 22 to 60 searching for love without the parameters set by their usual dating age range. During their time at the singles resort, none of these cast members revealed their ages or knew the ages of their dates. While some found love across birth decades, others found the age gap too much to bear, or simply connected with someone around their age. (Warning: Spoilers for Episodes 1-5 ahead!)

Erin Timm & Tristan Davis
Relationship Status: Split
Tristan Davis set the tone for Age of Attraction, proudly declaring, “If you’re not as hot as my mom, I’m not going to marry you,” in the season preview. While Tristan was clearly excited to date older women at the singles retreat, his early connection with Erin Timm fizzled out before the end of the first episode. She explained, “I have a 21-year-old nephew, and he reminds me of him… Look, I don’t know if I can let that guy into my bed.”
Lauren Boggi & Josh Wolf
Relationship Status: Unclear
After finding out that they only share an age gap of one year, Lauren Boggi (47) and Josh Wolf (46) left the resort together. It’s currently unclear whether they are still an item, but they do follow each other on Instagram, which is always a good sign! At the same time, Lauren lives in Los Angeles, and Josh lives in Austin, Texas, which could be a major hurdle for the couple, especially since Josh has a young daughter.
Elise Fernandez & Isaiah Salters
Relationship Status: Unclear
Similar to Lauren and Josh, Elise Fernandez (23) and Isaiah Salters (26) were shocked to find out that they are only three years apart in age. Neither Elise nor Isaiah has posted about their time on Age of Attraction, so there’s no update on their relationship yet, but the two do follow each other on Instagram. Elise lives in Texas, and according to Netflix, Isaiah “proudly calls himself a Southern boy at heart,” even though he lives in New York. Maybe that’s a good sign for their future together!
Vickie Downing & Brian Wizenried
Relationship Status: Unclear
In the promise room, Vickie Downing (44) and Brian Wizenried (48) found out that they share a four-year difference. While Vickie lives in Nashville, Brian splits his time between visiting his three children in Wisconsin and tending to his bakery in Panama. Could Brian make time to visit Vickie in Tennessee as well?
Joleen Diaz & West Mandell
Relationship Status: Split
While Joleen Diaz and West Mandell made it all the way to the promise room, Joleen confessed, “I think that our connection is really strong, but no, I’m not ready to make the commitment of moving in and living together right now.” She admitted that the age difference did play a role in her decision, sharing, “I think you’re much younger than me, and that maybe you have some growing to do.” In the end, West revealed that he is 30, and Joleen revealed that she is 48.
