‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Season 11 Cast’s Relationships: Who’s Married, Single & More

Aesha Scott, Joe Bradley, and Nathan Gallagher of 'Below Deck Med' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Somehow, they’re back already. The cast of Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11, which premieres on June 8, has officially been announced, and they’ll be setting sail into the rocky waters of demanding charter guests, messy hierarchies, endless egg benedicts, and that damn slide before we know it.

Last season, all we could think about were the many, many Below Deck Med hookups. You’d be forgiven for thinking you’d accidentally wandered onto the set of Love Island or Love Overboard instead.

Will this season involve just as much saliva swapping? Considering the shocking number of new cast members joining the yacht, there’s a very good chance. And apparently, former Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier will also be making an appearance for a bachelorette party night out.

One crew member is set to leave suddenly during the season, but who do we think it is? And which familiar face is reportedly stepping in to replace them? Let us know your theories in the comments.

Here’s your introduction to the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 cast and their relationship history, plus everything you need to know about them before they hit the high seas.

Below Deck Mediterranean, Season 11, Mondays, 8/7c, Bravo

Captain Sandy Yawn of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Captain Sandy Yawn

Leading the charge once again is the fearless Captain Sandy, who’s almost never seen without a grin on her face. She’s worked with plenty of these chaos agents before. Last season alone, she had Aesha Scott, Nathan Gallagher, and Joe Bradley on her boat. Sandy is famously pretty easy-going… unless the crew mess is dirty or the water toys aren’t put out immediately – especially the slide.

In May 2024, Sandy married her now-wife, Leah Shafer. Unsurprisingly, the couple tied the knot on a boat, with two of Sandy’s favorite chief stews — Kate Chastain and this season’s returning Aesha — there to celebrate. Sandy and Leah have been through plenty together, from getting engaged during a season of Below Deck Mediterranean to Leah’s breast cancer diagnosis.

Thankfully, the couple is still going strong and living together in Florida whenever Sandy isn’t off making waves as one of the most powerful women in yachting.

Aesha Scott of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Aesha Scott (Chief Stew)

Aesha Scott has become one of the most beloved cast members in the Below Deck universe, thanks to her incredible work ethic, chaotic sense of humor, and unmatched ability to become the life of the party on a crew night out. Even wifed up, Aesha still knows how to have fun without ever crossing a line.

She previously worked with both Joe Bradley and Nathan Gallagher on Captain Sandy’s last charter and got along well with them both. Aesha famously encouraged Nathan to reconnect with Gael Cameron, but she also had a few stern words for his bestie Joe over the way he treated some of the women on board. If Joe’s naughty behavior continues with her stews this season, you can bet Aesha will step in.

Rumors have also swirled for years about Aesha and Captain Jason Chambers, whom she’s worked closely with on Below Deck Down Under. The speculation ramped up after fans realized Jason wasn’t invited to her wedding, leading some people to assume there had been a previous hookup. Aesha later shut the rumors down, explaining that while they get along really well, Jason simply isn’t part of her “inner circle.”

Aesha previously had a classic boatmance with Jack Stirrup during Season 4 of Below Deck Mediterranean. The relationship fizzled out pretty quickly after filming wrapped, with Aesha later revealing to Andy Cohen that Jack had been unfaithful and allegedly had a girlfriend the entire time.

Jack later flew to France to apologize for their messy breakup, and Aesha said the pair eventually became friends again. However, she ended the friendship once she started dating Scott Dobbo out of respect for their relationship. Jack also famously dated former Chief Stew Katie Flood, something Aesha and Katie have since bonded over.
Aesha and Scott first met as teenagers while attending the same high school in New Zealand before reconnecting years later in 2020. In an interview with Bravo, Aesha revealed the pair had always had crushes on each other but never properly connected at the time.

Years later, Scott “slid into her DMs,” and the pair struck up a virtual friendship. A few months later, Aesha flew out to visit him at his home in Colorado, and the rest was history.

The couple got engaged in May 2024 after four years together, with Aesha proudly showing off her ring during Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10. They officially tied the knot in March 2026, with plenty of fellow yachties in attendance, including Captain Sandy, Nathan, and Gael. The couple now shares a home in their native New Zealand, one that Aesha has openly said she’s working incredibly hard to help pay for. This season will see her wedding planning as she runs the interior. She’s a busy girl!

Nathan Gallagher of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Nathan Gallagher (Bosun)

Nathan Gallagher’s biggest love story so far has, of course, been with Gael Cameron. The pair hit it off during Season 9 of Below Deck Mediterranean, with sparks flying almost immediately. Their romance got messy quickly, though, as Gael ultimately ended her existing relationship before pursuing things further with Nathan off the boat.
During the Below Deck After Show, which aired on September 23, 2024, the pair confirmed they had split after attempting to date in the real world and traveling together for six weeks. Gael admitted she started to “see a different side” to Nathan while they were together, explaining that she noticed “a little bit of anger,” as well as some “stubbornness” and “immaturity.” Nathan also acknowledged that the long distance between Australia and Ireland put serious pressure on the relationship.

Despite the breakup, the pair stayed in touch as friends, something viewers saw play out during Season 10 of Below Deck Med. When a deckhand became sick during charter season, Gael happened to be traveling nearby and stepped in to help. Naturally, things between her and Nathan escalated quickly again, with the pair reuniting through tearful declarations of love and eventually deciding to travel together once the season ended.

Despite their complicated history, Gael later confirmed in the Season 10 finale that she wanted to give the relationship another shot, explaining that they would be taking “baby steps” moving forward. (Interesting phrase to use there…)

Then came the biggest surprise of all: Eleven months after Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 finished filming, the couple welcomed their son, Kayden Cameron Gallagher. Since then, there’s been no shortage of adorable family content from the pair online.
That said, fans have questioned whether Nathan and Gael are still going strong after noticing they no longer follow each other on social media. Gael’s recent posts have also hinted at difficult periods in her life and “lessons learned,” which only fueled speculation. However, we do know Gael appears during Season 11 when she visits Nathan onboard — meaning viewers may have to wait until the season airs (and those Bravo contracts expire) before getting any real answers.

Nathan’s rekindled romance with Gael also caused tension with his best friend, Joe, during Season 10. Joe argued it was hypocritical for him to be criticized for flirting with multiple women given how Nathan and Gael originally got together, while Nathan became increasingly frustrated with Joe’s behavior toward Victoria. Considering Episode 1 teases that “two important crew members have a major falling out,” we wouldn’t be shocked if it’s those two.

Season 10 was also Nathan’s first time stepping into the bosun role, meaning he had plenty to learn, something Captain Sandy regularly reminded him of. Hopefully, this charter season runs a little smoother.

Joe Bradley of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Joe Bradley (Deck)

This marks Joe Bradley’s third consecutive season on Below Deck Mediterranean, and by now, he’s built a reputation for causing absolute romantic chaos wherever he goes.

Back in Season 9, Joe somehow managed to create a full-blown love triangle between Bri Muller, Ellie Dubaich, and himself. He led both women on, hooked up with Bri in the bathroom, agreed to go on a date with Ellie before later canceling it, and generally kept the entire boat emotionally exhausted. Then, the second new stew, Carrie O’Neill, stepped on board. Joe immediately shifted all his attention to her instead. Messy doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Season 10 saw Joe return to his old tricks almost immediately. He and Victoria quickly developed chemistry, but took forever to actually seal the deal, which, naturally, meant feelings became heavily involved in the meantime. Victoria had previously shared that she lost her boyfriend in a tragic accident just a year earlier, making this her first real connection with someone since. Eventually, the pair hooked up during a beach club outing… only for Kizzi to later get jealous and hook up with Joe herself, leaving Victoria upset and somehow Joe crying about the entire situation.

Joe later confirmed to Andy Cohen that he’s currently single and not actively looking for a relationship. He also admitted he was shocked when Kizzi got engaged not long after filming wrapped.

Genevieve Lillie of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Genevieve 'Gen' Lillie (Stew)

New to Below Deck but far from new to the industry, Gen arrives on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 with four years of yachting experience already under her belt. Her special skills reportedly include table settings, aura readings, and being a brutally honest truth-teller, a combination that suggests she won’t be staying quiet for long. As a fellow Scorpio, she seems more than ready to speak her mind without fear or hesitation.
Will she go head-to-head with Aesha? Probably not directly, but there could absolutely be a power struggle brewing for second stew. Episode 1 already teases that “two new stews battle over hierarchy,” so the fight for rank is officially on.
And, of course, there’s the Joe factor. Gen is very much his type to a T… although she might also catch the attention of a few other deckies onboard. Either way, drama feels inevitable.

Joy Lefaucheur of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Joy Lefaucheur (Chef)

We are so ready for a new chef, and especially excited to see a woman stepping into a male-dominated role in the yachting world. We love to see it.

Joy brings 10 years of industry experience and describes her favorite off-boat activities as “being successful, attractive, and eating ice cream in Italy.” Okay, girl.

She also shares a very telling insight into life onboard: “The crew is pickier about food than the guests. They act as if they also have a private chef. No one ever eats leftovers.” Honestly, that alone feels like a warning sign for some serious galley drama ahead.

We’re already predicting tension between the chef and the rest of the boat because when food is involved, things tend to get personal fast. Still, we’re hoping for the best, especially if Joy and Aesha end up forming a powerhouse duo.
Chefs don’t usually get too involved in boatmances… but rumor has it Joy finds herself at the center of a love triangle. On a boat like this, anything is possible.

Katrina Johnston of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Katrina Johnston (Stew)

Katrina hails from Nova Scotia, Canada, a country we don’t often see represented on Below Deck. She comes across as a classic girlie, the kind who enjoys iced vanilla lattes and a healthy amount of scrolling through Instagram Reels in her downtime.

And let’s be clear: A woman who can belt out “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” by Taylor Swift from memory is not someone to be trifled with — speaking from experience.
We’d put money on Katrina potentially getting involved with a deckhand at some point, and yes, that could very well include Joe. At this point, it almost feels like a question of when, not if, another love triangle involving Joe and two stews will form. Let’s just hope the boat has enough emotional bandwidth for it.

Kayley Smith of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Kayley Smith (Deck Stew)

One year into yachting and making her Bravo debut, this blonde Aussie already seems like a guaranteed good time. A self-confessed fan of Vanderpump Rules, she’s clearly arriving with the right level of reality-TV awareness.

Kayley’s standout party trick is her ability to rap Eminem’s “Rap God” verse, and we have a strong feeling that skill is absolutely going to make an appearance at some point this season.

As for boatmances, Joe is supposedly steering clear of anything within the deck team after what went down with Victoria, so we’re not expecting sparks there. Instead, Kayley could end up catching the attention of Luke or Cooper… though there’s also a chance she keeps things strictly professional and avoids the boat romance chaos altogether.

Luke Brumer of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Luke Brumer (Deck)

From South Africa, Luke has spent two years in the yachting industry and is making his Below Deck debut this season. A self-described fit king, he lists fitness and mountain climbing among his favorite activities, suggesting he’ll be one of the more physically driven crew members onboard.
Interestingly, he also mentions missing the solitude of home life, which could mean he’s less drawn to the usual onboard chaos and drama. Whether that translates into him staying above the fray or quietly observing it all from a distance remains to be seen, especially in a season where things tend to spiral fast. Let’s see how it all plays out!

Cooper Dawson of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 11
Fred Jagueneau / Bravo

Cooper Dawson (Deck)

Okay, now this is going to be interesting. Somehow, Cooper has landed on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 with zero years of yachting experience. How? We have absolutely no idea. But fear not, because he’s about to become fast friends with Joe. Whether that’s a dream team or a disaster waiting to happen remains to be seen, and we’re already wondering if Nathan might get a little jealous.

“It’s the most secretly unprofessional industry,” Cooper said of yachting. “We put on masks for the guests, but as soon as they’re gone, we’re just a bunch of modern-day sailors looking for a drink and a good time.”

Just how much of a “good time” did he manage to have on board? We’ll have to wait and see.
