The new Netflix series follows California’s elite next generation, including influencer and celebrity relatives, such as the daughter of Bret Michaels, the sister of Jordyn Woods, and the son of Scottie Pippen, living in the state’s most enviable zip code. Returning home after college, or from simply spending a few years away, the Calabasas Confidential stars rehash old drama and stir up new trouble during a summer back in their hometown. This season, Dylan Wolf gets involved with Emma Medrano and Suede Brooks, all while reuniting with his ex-fling, Jemma Durrant. Later, besties Alexie Olivio and Emilie Nelson find themselves crushing on the same guy, Ben Favaedi, leading to a massive argument.

Suede Brooks
At the start of the season, Suede Brooks, who is from Las Vegas and recently relocated to Los Angeles, is close with Nicole and Jemma. However, things take a turn when Suede and Dylan, Jemma’s ex-fling, connected at Kikichella and left together. Soon after, the two posted a soft launch on her TikTok page.
After Suede and Dylan went on a first date, where she left early, Dylan told Suede that Nicole had gossiped about their bad date to the whole cast. But ultimately, Preston confirmed that Dylan was the one who spilled the beans. By the end of the season, Suede decided that she and Dylan were better off as friends. She also admitted that she could understand Jemma better after having spent time with Dylan herself.
Jemma Durrant
Jemma is the daughter of Durrant International, Inc. printing and packaging company CEO Brett and his wife, Athene Durrant. She went to Calabasas High School with Ben, Dylan, Emma, and Nicole, which led to her on-again/off-again teenage fling with Dylan. While Jemma wasn’t interested in rekindling that flame, she did block Emma once she found out that Emma and Dylan had recently started hooking up.
At the start of the season we saw Jemma reconnect with Nicole and her new influencer friend, Suede. There, Jemma revealed that she lost her virginity to Dylan, who told everyone at school about it, dubbing her “Bloody Mary.” Things got messy for this group of girlies when Suede started dating Dylan, but they seem to have sorted things out now.
Towards the end of the season, Jemma started seeing Ben’s friend Nolan, but as of the finale, they had yet to make things exclusive. During the finale, Jemma and Dylan made amends, and she was seen sneaking into his room after everyone went to bed.
Nicole Sahebi
At the start of the season, Nicole, another Calabasas High alum, was tight with Suede and reunited with Jemma. Her father is Amir Sahebi, a Calabasas real estate agent.
After Suede’s rough date with Dylan, he tried to convince her that Nicole had spread a rumor about Suede leaving early. According to Preston, it was Dylan who told everyone about it, not Nicole. Caught in the middle of Jemma and Suede’s drama, Nicole and Jemma started house hunting together.
Towards the end of the season, we saw Nicole get in a massive argument with Emma after Emma claimed that Nicole had been spreading rumors. After the argument, Jemma remained by Nicole’s side.
Emma Medrano
Emma, another Calabasas High alum, who went to school with Jemma, Dylan, Nicole, and Ben, refers to her family as a Calabasas legacy. “We were here before the Kardashians, and we like to own that,” she shared.
Since high school, Emma and Dylan have hooked up a few times. During Episode 1, Emma and Dylan arrived at Jemma’s party together, sending major waves through the friend group and starting a feud with Jemma.
According to Emma, she works at a Mercedes dealer. Early in the season, Emma and Emilie became closer because they felt like outcasts in the group. During Episode 7, Emma and Nicole got into an explosive argument after Emma claimed that Nicole had been spreading rumors. When everyone came to Nicole’s defense, including Jemma, who told her, “You buy cars from her, who cares,” Emma realized there was no one she can trust. She concluded the season saying it might be time to find new friends.
Dylan Wolf
Dylan Wolf, who found himself at the heart of the drama this season, is also a Calabasas High alum. His sister, Sabrina, also briefly appears in the series, but we don’t know much about their parents. In high school, Dylan hooked up with Jemma and Emma, making things rather messy for their reunion.
At the start of the season, Dylan and Emma were in the middle of a fling (re-fling?), until things got too messy and they decided they’re better off as friends. Then he started seeing Suede, who caught his eye at Kikichella. While the two went on a few dates, they parted as friends.
Throughout the season, Jemma and Dylan’s high school situationship drama loomed. By the end of the season, they made up. During Episode 8, we even saw Jemma visit Dylan’s room after everyone went to bed in their beach rental. Could this mean they’re going back to their old ways?
Sterling Retzlaff
Sterling may not be from Calabasas, but he’s a core member of this crew. His father appears to be Dirk Retzlaff, the manager of ConocoPhillips, located outside of Anchorage. The Alaskan model is close with Dylan and Hercy, and has become tight with Alexie, Preston, and Raine.
That said, Sterling was not involved in the group’s dating drama because he already has a girlfriend. During Episode 8, Sterling finally introduced his friends to his longtime girlfriend, Brynn Rumfallo, a former Dance Moms star. Unfortunately, it looks like Brynn is having a little bit of trouble fitting into Sterling’s friend group, because she’s on the quieter side. Find out more about their relationship here!
Hercy Miller
Hercy is the son of Master P and Sonya P, who has charted his own course as a player for the New Orleans Privateers. His brother Romeo, an actor and rapper, also made an appearance this season.
At the start of the season, he got caught between Kimora, whom he hooked up with in high school, and her bestie Emilie. Ultimately, Hercy asked Emilie on a date and she didn’t feel a spark. At the end of the season, it was Hercy who suggested getting everyone back together for a week at a beach rental.
Jodie Woods
Jodie is the sister of Calabasas legend Jordyn Woods, BFF of Kylie Jenner, who has made many appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. While Jodie was homeschooled, she used to go to Bible study with Hercy. She’s also close friends with Kimora.
Kimora Lewis
Kimora went to Sierra Canyon School with Alexie, Emilie, and Preston. Her mother is Kim Lewis, BET’s Senior Vice President. Growing up, she was besties with Alexie and Emilie. Heading into the first episode, Emilie was staying at Kimora’s house, which made it sting even more when Emilie ignored her at Jemma’s party.
Turns out, Emilie had something going on with Hercy, Kimora’s ex fling, and Emilie thought she would be jealous. For the rest of the summer, it seemed like she was closest with Jemma.
Emilie Nelson
Emilie ignored Kimora all night at Jemma’s party, even though they had been besties for 10 years. According to the rest of the crew, Hercy and Kimora used to hook up, but even though Emilie and Kimora were besties, Emilie and Hercy had been chatting.
At Kikichella, Kimora and Emilie got into an explosive argument, with Jemma getting in the middle, clapping in Emilie’s face. Emilie then left the party, getting comforted by Nicole. After the party, Emilie and Hercy went on a date, but she realized she wasn’t interested.
Later, Emilie met Ben, who basically everyone had a crush on. When Emilie and Ben kissed, Alexie was upset because she had told Emilie just minutes prior that she thought he was cute. According to Emilie’s mom, Natalie, that’s why she’s not a fan of her daughter’s friends. In what could have been a friendship-ending argument, Emilie told Alexie that she needed to stop gaslighting her.
Ben Favaedi
The season, Ben made a splash in the friend group, catching the attention of Emilie, Emma, and Alexie. Another Calabasas High alum, he’s close with Dylan and not the biggest fan of Jemma.
At the crew’s rooftop party, he connected with Emilie and they kissed. From there, the two seemed to become an item. Later, Emma revealed that Ben broke up with his girlfriend the day before that rooftop party. It’s unclear whether Emilie knew that or not.
Alexie Olivio
While Alexie had a bit of a crush on Ben as well, it was the betrayal of her friend that stung more than losing out on a guy. Turns out, Alexie was best friends in high school with Emilie and Kimora, so Emilie’s betrayal cut deep. During their argument, Emilie claimed that Alexie was gaslighting her and then she called Emilie jealous.
Alexie also revealed that she and Preston have kissed before, since he was her ride home from Sierra Canyon School. They’ve always held a candle for each other, but decided they’d be better off as friends.
Preston Pippen
Preston is the son of NBA alum Scottie Pippen and The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen. He’s pretty close with everyone in the group, even though he only went to high school with Emilie, Alexie, and Kimora. He’s earned himself the nickname “Messy Pressy” because he’s always been one to tell it like it is.
During the carnival, he confessed his feelings to Alexie, and it looked like there would be a real shot for the two. However, by the end of the season, they decided their friendship was too important to sacrifice. Are we the only ones rooting for these two to finally go on a date during Season 2?
Raine Michaels
Raine Michaels, daughter of Bret Michaels, the lead singer of Poison, returned from a trip abroad, finding herself right in the middle of the drama. She went to Oaks Christian High School, but she’s close friends with Nicole and Alexie. Throughout the season, we also saw her bond with Hercy and Sterling.
