According to Netflix, “Sterling moved to Calabasas from Alaska to become a full-time model and quickly struck up a friendship with Dylan [Wolf] and Hercy [Miller].” He told the streamer, “I’m quite literally the outsider.”
While his dad works in the oil industry, Sterling is following his own path as a model and content creator.
Who is Sterling Retzlaff’s girlfriend?
Sterling has been dating Brynn Rumfallo for over two years. While Brynn is not a main cast member, she does appear in the final episode of Season 1.
Ahead of the season, Netflix teased, “Sterling is currently dating Brynn, a fellow model and former Dance Moms cast member, who lives in Orange County and travels often. With Sterling starting a new career and balancing a relationship, it can occasionally lead to conflict.”

Who is Brynn Rumfallo?
Sterling’s girlfriend, Brynn Rumfallo, appeared on Seasons 5 to 7 of Dance Moms from 2015 to 2017. She has also appeared on America’s Got Talent as part of the group Fresh Faces and Dancing With the Stars as a guest performer with Jaycee Wilkins and Maddie Ziegler.
Today, Brynn is a model, a dance teacher, and an influencer.

During an interview with Swooon, Sterling enthusiastically shared that he and Brynn are still going strong. When it comes to Brynn’s relationship with the rest of the friend group, he explained, “Obviously, she knows everyone in the friend group, but I feel like her close friends are the only people [who] she really keeps in contact with… She really keeps her circle small, which I respect a lot.”
