Demi Moore’s Relationship History: Bruce Willis & More of the Oscar Nominee’s Exes

Freddy Moore
Moore’s first husband was Freddy Moore. Even before they tied the knot, she began using his last name as a performer. She was a teenager when they wed in 1981.
After separating from Freddy in 1983, Moore filed for divorce in September 1984. It was finalized 11 months later.
Timothy Hutton
During her separation from Freddy, Moore dated Timothy Hutton. Their relationship was brief.
Jon Cryer
Moore slept with Jon Cryer while they were filming the 1984 movie A Small Affair. She made the revelation in her memoir, Inside Out.
Emilio Estevez
Moore met Emilio Estevez while they were filming the 1985 film St. Elmo’s Fire. The two got engaged and were set to tie the knot in December 1986.
“Emilio and I in fact just mailed out the invitations for our wedding when a friend told me she had seen him out with someone else in L.A.,” Moore recalled in her memoir. “He denied it, of course, but I was having a hard time trusting him: during a two-week breakup a few months before, he’d slept with an ‘ex’ girlfriend, lied about it and then forced to tell me the truth when he found out she was pregnant.”
Bruce Willis
Moore and Bruce Willis tied the knot in November 1987 and went on to welcome three daughters: Rumer, born 1988, Scout, born 1991, and Tallulah, born 1994. They separated in 1998 and divorced in 2000.
Despite the split, Moore and Willis have maintained an amicable relationship. She has been by his side amid his dementia diagnosis and is friendly with his wife, Emma Heming-Willis.
Oliver Whitcomb
Following her split from Willis, Moore dated Oliver Whitcomb, a martial arts instructor, from 1999 to 2002.
Ashton Kutcher
Despite a 15-year age difference, Moore and Ashton Kutcher began dating in 2003. She had a miscarriage while six months pregnant with his child.
Moore and Kutcher tied the knot in 2005 but separated in 2011. The divorce was finalized two years later in November 2013.
In her 2019 memoir, Moore cited her agreeing to having threesomes with Kutcher as a factor that led to the split. “I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be,” she wrote, adding that it was a “mistake.”
The marriage crumbled when a woman came forward and claimed to have had an affair with Kutcher. Moore said he tried to “deflect blame,” writing, “Because we had brought a third party into our relationship, Ashton said, that blurred the lines and, to some extent, justified what he’d done.”
Daniel Humm
Following her split from Kutcher, Moore kept her private life mostly out of the public eye. In 2022, she started dating Michelin-star chef Daniel Humm (pictured above). They were first linked at Paris Fashion Week that March, but split by November.
