‘Euphoria’: Every Outfit at Cassie & Nate’s Wedding, Ranked by Shock Factor

Rue, Jules, and Maddie at Nate and Cassie's wedding in 'Euphoria' Season 3 Episode 3

Euphoria isn’t exactly known for realism, which it’s become less and less married to over the seasons. We have no doubt that Season 3’s third episode, which is centered around Nate (Jacob Elordi) and Cassie’s (Sydney Sweeneywedding, will be just as stylized and chaotic as we’ve come to expect from the HBO drama. We can make that prediction based on the wild outfits Rue (Zendaya), Maddy (Alexa Demie), and Jules (Hunter Schafer) are wearing alone. The preview photos quite literally made our jaw drop, as one Cal Jacobs (Eric Dane) would say.

We’ve seen some interesting fashion over the years on Euphoria, but nothing compares to the characters’ outfit choices for Nate and Cassie’s big day. Can you imagine rocking up to someone’s wedding in Converse, let alone a dress (translation: sheet) that barely covers your body? Apparently, the Euphoria characters can.

We aren’t really mad about it — Maddy in particular deserves to wear a revenge dress to the wedding of her ex and ex-best friend. We seriously doubt the scandalous outfits will faze anyone in Episode 3, but we’re going to attempt to rank the Euphoria gang’s wedding attire by how likely it’d get them kicked out of a real ceremony.

6. Cal

We didn’t think Cal would go crazy with his choice of suit, but we wouldn’t put it past him to start the drama. After all, this is the man that had a crashout of epic proportions and peed on the floor in Season 2.

5. Lexi and the bridesmaids

Cassie’s selection of bridesmaid dress is less scandalous and more horrendously tacky. Maddy was spot-on with her assessment of Cassie’s lack of taste in Episode 2. Poor Lexi (Maude Apatow).

4. Cassie & Suze

Cassie isn’t one to shy away from provocativeness, but her wedding dress is surprisingly tame, as is her mom’s (Alanna Ubach) mother-of-the-bride gown. Regardless, we’re ready for Suze to steal the show, providing that she hasn’t changed too much since her daughters were in high school.

3. Rue

Rue, girl. The bond between Rue and her Converse might just be the most stable one in Euphoria. Seriously, we can’t remember a time Rue wasn’t wearing these shoes. Maybe if her suit looked nicer, we could be more forgiving about her wearing it to a wedding, but it’s two sizes too big and more than a little disheveled. But hey, we can’t really blame her for not feeling the urge to dress to the nines for Nate and Cassie, of all people. And, we have to give props to Rue for not dressing half-naked to a wedding. (It’s not a high bar to clear, but still.) Rue probably wouldn’t be kicked out for her outfit, but we wouldn’t blame Cassie if she gives her some side eye.

2. Maddy

Maddy would be instantly sent packing if this wedding was between anyone other than Cassie and Nate. They did her so dirty in Season 2 that she can get away with anything. As skimpy as it is, Maddy also manages to make the dress look classy, especially with the fur shawl she wears with it. Honestly, Jules’ dress makes Maddy’s look modest, too.

1. Jules

See what we mean? Realistically, Jules wouldn’t even be let through the door in an outfit like this, which leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination. That guy’s face to her right? That’s how we reacted, too. One wrong move, and Jules’ entire body is out for the world to see. (Let’s hope it isn’t windy.) Cassie would be within her rights to ream Jules out for pulling a stunt like this.

Regardless, it’s a slay that Jules decided to wear this. Upstaging Cassie at her wedding? Jules, never change.
