The former Dawson’s Creek stars, who dated in the early days of the teen drama’s run, are reuniting for Happy Hours, a trilogy of movies Holmes will write, direct, and star in alongside Jackson. They’re really embracing the second chance romance trope because Happy Hours is being described as an “emotional journey of young loves who reconnect as adults.” (Did you hear the millennial scream millions just let out?)
Holmes and Jackson were spotted filming in New York City on July 21, and the photos are guaranteed to make you swoon. There’s the nostalgia of seeing two of the most famous teen stars of their day working together again and the effortless chemistry that’s still there after all these years.
