‘Love Island USA’ Season 7 Couples: Who Is Still Together After the First Recoupling?

We’re officially on Love Island USA time! After a shocking 40-plus minute delay, the Season 7 premiere dropped on June 3 and introduced the first set of Islanders who’ve come to Fiji looking for love.
Right off the bat, Love Island USA Season 7 turned up the heat. In a steamy twist, the women were able to kiss two men before deciding who they wanted to couple up with. However, their picks weren’t set in stone. The men could be stolen at any time, and that’s exactly what happened with Yulissa Escobar, Ace Green, and Chelley Bissainthe. However, an unexpected twist turned this love triangle upside down on Day 2.
The first five couples of the season emerged early on, and the pairs spent the rest of the premiere settling into the villa and getting to know each other. Soon, Bombshells entered the villa to stir up the drama. The June 8 episode was the first recoupling of the season, and it was intense.

Charlie Georgiou & Hannah Fields
Status: Still Together
The first Bombshell couple of the season! Charlie Georgiou and Hannah Fields entered the villa following the original 10 Islanders and got to work. After exploring their options, Charlie chose Hannah at the first recoupling.
Olandria & Taylor
Status: Still Together
Olandria said she was done with city boys and found herself a cowboy on night one in the villa. They had a connection from the jump. During the first recoupling, Taylor didn’t stray. “It’s like I’ve known him my whole life,” Olandria said. “He feels like home.”
Huda & Jeremiah
Status: Still Together
Huda had her eyes on Jeremiah from the jump. They coupled up right away, but there could be trouble ahead. Huda did tell Jeremiah that she had a daughter, but time will tell if that impacts their relationship in the long run.
Chelley & Austin
Status: Still Together
Chelley had to make another pick after Yulissa stole Ace from her. She coupled up with Austin because she had to. Despite the ongoing Ace situation, Austin and Chelley’s relationship continues to grow. “I totally could see myself on the outside with this woman,” Austin said before choosing Chelley during the recoupling ceremony.
Ace & Amaya
Status: Still Together
After Yulissa’s exit (more on that later), Ace had to couple up with someone else. There’s clearly still chemistry with Chelley, but Ace decided to pick Amaya at the first recoupling.
Belle-A & Nic
Status: Split
Unlike the rest of the Season 7 girls, Belle-A wanted to take things slow in the villa. She didn’t want to kiss any of the guys, save for a kiss on the cheek. She coupled with Nic, and they discussed her non-kissing approach. Belle-A told Nic she wanted a “solid connection” with someone before getting physical. They did end up holding hands, though!
Their relationship wasn’t meant to be, though. After bombshell Cierra Ortega entered the villa, Belle-A and Nic’s connection was never the same. After weighing his options, Nic chose Cierra, which meant Belle-A was the first Islander to go home.
Nic & Cierra
Status: Still Together
Nic and Cierra are giving their romance a shot. Now that Belle-A is out of the picture, these two can fully explore their potential. However, could their honeymoon period be short-lived, especially with more Bombshells set to enter the villa?
Yulissa & Ace
Status: Split
Yulissa’s choice was the season’s first taste of the inevitable drama to come. When it was Yulissa’s turn, Ace had already been chosen by Chelley, and it was clear they were vibing. (They had met prior to the show.) However, Yulissa swiped Ace from Chelley, leaving the latter without a match for a moment. However, Yulissa suddenly left the show ahead of Episode 2, due to her past use of racial slurs.
