The actress isn’t just the heart of Sweet Magnolias as Maddie Townsend, she also fulfills that role at home. In honor of her 15th wedding anniversary, she penned a sweet message to her husband, former Yankees player Nick Swisher.
“You are without a doubt one of the greatest blessings in my life,” she wrote. “I knew when we met that life with you would be special. Most know your big personality and fiery passion. But I get to know the dreamer with an old school heart, the romantic, the artist, the most dedicated husband and father, and the most loyal friend you could ever ask for. Anyone that is loved by you is so damn lucky, but me (and Emme and sai) are the luckiest. Your love is a precious gift and I’m so grateful for what we share, the life we have built, and all that is yet to come.”
The couple said “I do” in 2010 and have been living in their own personal fairytale ever since. The Swishers have two children, Emerson Jay and Sailor Stevie.
Justin Bruening
Justin Bruening (Cal Maddox) and Alexa Havins-Bruening met on the set of All My Children. Two years after their onscreen romance began in 2003, they tied the knot on June 5, 2005. Justin even proposed on the set. Alexa was quick to say “yes.”
In November 2024, Havins revealed to TV Insider that she and Bruening welcomed a secret fourth baby. “We have four [kids],” she began. “We’ve got a secret baby. Our oldest daughter is 14, and then our son’s 11, and then we have two more girls, ages eight and four.”
Heather Headley
Heather Headley and Brian Musso are college sweethearts. They married in 2003. Over the course of their 23-year marriage, Musso had a stint at the New York Jets as a wide receiver and Headley’s career in the arts took off. From originating the role of Nala in The Lion King on Broadway to playing Helen Decatur in Sweet Magnolias, she has truly done it all, and Musso has been there by her side throughout it all. Dion Johnstone

Anneliese Judge, who stars as Annie Sullivan, is dating Cameron Zahand. For Judge’s birthday in December, Zahand wrote, “Happiest of birthdays to my dearest doober.
