Mariska Hargitay Takes Final Broadway Bow With Sweet Husband Surprise

It’s soon going to be time to see Mariska Hargitay as Captain Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU once again. The long-running star of the NBC drama did something a bit different in her time off between Seasons 27 and 28, but production will be getting up and running on the series soon. However, she’s only just left behind that new gig: starring on Broadway.

Hargitay starred in Every Brilliant Thing, having made her debut on May 26. Her run lasted through July 5. (She took over from Daniel Radcliffe, and Tracee Ellis Ross makes her debut on July 7. She’ll be in 40 performances through August 9.) In the solo show, “a person looks back at their life and the glimmers of hope that carried them through. All told through a list of every wonderful, beautiful, and delightful thing—big, small, and everything in between—that makes life worth living.”
