‘Not Suitable for Work’ Canceled at Hulu: Will It Find a Home Somewhere Else?
Not Suitable for Work has been canceled at Hulu. The comedy from Mindy Kaling and Charlie Grandy will not return to the streamer, but is it the end of the line for the title?
The show, which follows five twentysomethings, made a splash when it debuted at the beginning of June and continued to hold audiences’ attention every week as new installments dropped on the platform, but since the finale dropped, it was unclear where the show’s popularity stood for renewal chances after a major cliffhanger, no less.
While the cancellation is certainly a setback, we’re keeping fingers crossed the show may find a new streaming home before the final call is made. Below, we’re breaking down everything we know about a potential second season of Not Suitable for Work, and teasing what could be in store based on Season 1’s twist ending. Scroll down for a closer look and stay tuned for updates as we wait to see if the show will be saved.
Has Not Suitable for Work been renewed for Season 2?
Not Suitable for Work was canceled by Hulu after a single season. According to Variety, “Warner Bros. TV, which produces the series, plans to shop it to potential new homes.” In other words, if a different streamer or network was interested in exploring the series further, Not Suitable for Work is open to a return. For now, fans will have to stand by and hope a save is on the horizon.
