Outlander knows a thing or two about romantic lines, especially when it comes to the show’s leading couple, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan), and we have high hopes for even more great quotes in the upcoming prequel spinoff, Outlander: Blood of My Blood.

The new series will chronicle two romances, shining a light on the parents of Claire and Jamie, with Jamie Roy and Harriet Slater stepping in to play Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie, and Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine stepping in to portray Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp.

While Brian and Ellen’s romance is set firmly in the 18th century, Julia and Henry’s story will begin in World War I England and shift to the past as the pair time-travels unexpectedly to the same period.
