‘Outlander’: Jamie’s Death, Frank’s Book & More Reveals From SDCC’s Final Season Teaser (VIDEO)

Outlander‘s final chapter is approaching, and Starz didn’t hold back during the show’s panel presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, where they revealed Season 8’s premiere window and first real teaser trailer.

Appearing on behalf of the series were stars Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, and executive producers Matthew B. Roberts and Maril Davis. During the panel presentation, they presented this exciting first look at the final chapter of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser’s (Heughan) love story.

And although the teaser is brief, it packs quite a punch, hinting at some major plotlines to unfold. As fans know by now, Starz’s hit romantic fantasy series is based on the hit books by Diana Gabaldon and chronicles the epic relationship between time-traveling World War II combat nurse Claire and 18th-century Highlander Jamie.
