‘Celebrity Big Brother’ Star Courtney Stodden Marries Jared Safier in ‘Last-Minute’ Wedding
Courtney Stodden has tied the knot! The former Celebrity Big Brother star has wed TV producer Jared Safier.
The 30-year-old confirmed her nuptials on December 4 by sharing a photo from their wedding on her Instagram Stories. Stodden, dressed in a gorgeous $60,000 vintage gown, kissed Safier in the snap. She carried a bouquet of red roses, and Safier had a matching boutonniere.
The wedding came together at the “last minute.” The couple planned their nuptials in a matter of weeks. “We planned on getting married, and we didn’t have a date,” she told Us Weekly. “We just kind of looked at each other, and we’re the same kind of crazy. We just looked at each other and we’re just like, ‘This is the perfect time to do it.'”
Once they realized their families would be in town for the Thanksgiving holiday, they knew it was the perfect time to say “I do.”
Safier gushed about the nuptials and starting this next chapter with Stodden. “I get to marry my best friend and the love of my life and I get to do it in front of her family and my family, so, very excited,” he said.
The couple got engaged in June 2024 when Safier popped the question with a stunning five-carat diamond ring. “I can tell he wants to bring out the best in me,” Stodden told PEOPLE at the time. “That’s what I love. He believes in me. He is a four-time Emmy-winning producer and director. I adore his creative mind.”
She continued, “I want to be a good wife. I am very hopeful for my happy ending.”
Stodden, who notably starred in the 12th season of Celebrity Big Brother UK, was previously married to The Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison in 2011 when she was just 16 years old. They divorced in 2020. She was engaged to Chris Sheng from 2021 to 2023. She began dating Safier in August 2023.
