Christina Haack Fires Back at Estranged Husband Josh Hall Over ‘The Flip Off’ Drama

Christina Haack and Josh Hall are going public with their intense drama! The exes engaged in a social media feud ahead of the premiere of their upcoming HGTV show, The Flip Off, which they filmed episodes of prior to their July 2024 split.
Hall started the back-and-forth on Instagram by posting a screenshot of an article about a “tense fight” the pair had in a preview for the series. “TFW you can’t get enough ratings with celebrity [home] designers, so you rely on manufactured drama with me, a nobody,” the real estate advisor wrote. “@hgtv you’ve changed.”
Although Hall didn’t mention his estranged wife directly, Haack caught wind of the message and reposted it on her own Instagram Story. “Manufactured?! Pretty sure no one at Hgtv told you to be rude to me….. That was all natural.”
The reality star then posted a photo of herself in tears and gave some context to what was going on behind-the-scenes of The Flip Off while she was filming with Hall amid their issues. “This was taken June 21, 2024,” she shared. “After one of my shoots with Josh. This is ‘real’ and a reminder to myself that I deserve better.” The two filed for divorce just weeks later.
The Flip Off features Haack and Hall taking on her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae, in a home-flipping competition. However, Haack and Hall split during filming.
The fight referenced in their social media feud was shown in a preview released on January 2. The tension began when Hall told his then-wife, “This is a competition. You gotta pull out all stops. Whatever it takes to win, I’ll do it. Halls rule!” When Haack didn’t respond how Hall wanted, he warned her, “You’re supposed to say it with me or repeat it or something that shows that you’re with me. Remember, you’re a Hall now. Don’t get confused in this competition about what your last name is.”
He then called her “rude” when she didn’t respond to him, prompting her to insist that she doesn’t “over talk.” Hall lashed out, and the sneak peek concluded with Haack confirming that the two had “officially split up.”
