‘When Calls the Heart’ Star Erin Krakow Shares Rare Photo With Ben Rosenbaum for Valentine’s Day
Elizabeth and Nathan’s love story has taken center stage on When Calls the Heart, and like costar Kevin McGarry, Erin Krakow also found love on the set of the Hallmark Channel series.
Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum, who plays Mike Hickam, have been dating for quite some time, and Krakow gave When Calls the Heart fans an update about their relationship on Valentine’s Day. This marked one year since they went public with their romance.
The actress shared a rare photo with Rosenbaum that was captured during their Valentine’s Day celebration. They’re happier than ever! Krakow and Rosenbaum were all smiles in the picture. Krakow captioned the adorable photo with a simple heart wrapped in ribbon emoji. The couple prefers to keep their relationship out of the public eye, rarely posting photos together on social media.

Kayla Wallace, who plays Fiona and is married to McGarry, commented, “Our view so often, that I love so much.” Cameron Mathison also commented with several red heart emojis.
The couple went Instagram official on February 15, 2024, after months of fan speculation that they were dating. Krakow shared a carousel of photos with Rosenbaum on Instagram, including one where she kissed Rosenbaum on the cheek.
At the same time, Rosenbaum posted a screenshot of his phone background, which included Krakow and the dog they adopted together. “First thing I see when I wake up. Last thing I see before sleep. Happy Valentines Day,” he captioned the Instagram photo.
Krakow and Rosenbaum met on the set of the Hallmark series, but their love has only been off-screen. On the show, their characters have different love interests. Krakow’s Elizabeth was married to Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing) until his death in Season 5, and she’s since fallen in love with Nathan Grant (McGarry). Rosenbaum’s Mike married Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) at the end of Season 11.
