‘Bridgerton’ Stars Yerin Ha & Simone Ashley Give Exciting Season 4 Update
Bridgerton Season 4 may feel far away for fans of the Netflix favorite, but stars Yerin Ha and Simone Ashley are giving them something to cheer about with the latest filming update on the forthcoming chapter.
While a premiere date may not be in sight, the stars’ latest comments suggest that filming for Season 4 is reaching its end behind the scenes. In two separate interviews, Ha and Ashley gave some vital updates surrounding their progress in the current filming slate.
Chatting with the Dish podcast, Ashley revealed that she’s essentially done filming for Season 4. When asked about where she was in the process, she told the podcast’s hosts, “I think my final day is on Monday… I’ve been in and out, in and out.” Depending on when the podcast was recorded, it’s very likely Ashley has fully wrapped her Season 4 work.

Meanwhile, Ha offered an update as Season 4’s lead to Women’s Wear Daily amid her appearance at Paris Fashion Week. She told the outlet, “It’s going well,” regarding filming. “We just finished Block 3, and we’re heading into Block 4 now, so the final stint of the long marathon,” Ha added. For those less familiar with the filming lingo, a block means two episodes, and if Ha is gearing up for Block 4, that means filming on the final two episodes of the season is about to begin.
As for how Ha has been enjoying the process, she stated, “It’s just been so wonderful and work has never felt like work. It’s just felt like playtime. It’s been so nice.”
Her sentiment seemed to echo Ashley’s remarks she made in the podcast about her experience of being part of the Bridgerton universe. “It changed my life, and you know, I’m so proud to be a part of it,” Ashley shared. “So grateful that it’s part of my life… it’s just one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. So, very happy to be continuing with that show.”
Fans will recall that Ashley plays Kate, who is married to the eldest Bridgerton brother, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey). Together, they led Season 2, and now Ha will take on Season 4’s leading lady role as Sophie Baek, love interest to second-eldest Bridgerton brother Benedict (Luke Thompson).
This update on filming progress certainly bodes well for viewers eager to return to the Ton as a looming wrap date on filming means we’re that much closer to Season 4’s arrival.
