Au Revoir, Camille!
‘Emily in Paris’ Star Camille Razat Reveals Why She’s Not Returning For Season 5

Camille Razat played Camille for four seasons of Emily in Paris, but she was not announced as part of the main cast for Season 5. Now, the actress has confirmed that she will not be returning to the show.
In a Wednesday, April 23, Instagram post, Razat broke her silence about her decision to leave the Netflix series. The actress also revealed why she’s chosen not to return.
“This character has meant a lot to me, and I feel that her storyline has naturally come to an end,” Razat explained. “It felt like the right moment to explore new horizons.”
However, Razat has nothing but fond memories of her time on the show and hinted that she could pop up in the future. “It has been a truly wonderful experience, one filled with growth, creativity, and unforgettable memories,” she shared. “I’m deeply grateful to @starmandarren and the entire team at @netflix and @paramountpics for their trust and for giving me the opportunity to bring Camille to life and leaving the door open for her return, as she will always be a part of Emily In Paris world.”

Plus, she has a lot going on that’s been keeping her busy. “I’ve recently wrapped two series: Nero for Netflix and Les Disparues de la Gare for Disney+,” she continued. “I’m also excited to share that I’ve launched my own production company, @tazar_production. We mainly produce music videos and short films for now, but we’re currently developing our first feature film, something I’m truly passionate about and excited to grow.”
In conclusion, she added, “I leave the show with nothing but love and admiration for the cast, crew, and fans who have supported us along the way. Thank you for the beautiful ride.”
Season 4 of Emily in Paris concluded in September 2024. Camille’s storyline wrapped up with her deciding to pursue becoming a mother after her breakup from Gabriel (Lucas Bravo). She initially thought she was pregnant with Gabriel’s baby, but after finding out her test was a false positive, she asked him to adopt a child with her. When he turned down the idea, she decided she was ready to become a single mother.
Bravo also previously sparked speculation that he might not return to the show after admitting that he felt “far away” from his character. However, he is confirmed to be returning for Season 5.
