After not being publicly connected to anyone since Love Island USA Season 6, Rob confirmed he was off the market in February 2026. He revealed that he’d been dating his girlfriend for two months when the reunion was filmed on February 12.
He told The Cut that same month that he was working on a woodworking project for his girlfriend, whose name he was keeping under wraps. Rob shared a few more details with Interview Magazine, opening up about what dating is like post-Love Island.
“It’s extremely hard,” he said. “Well, you meet somebody and they’re like, ‘Yeah, I’ve never seen the show,’ blah, blah, blah. Especially if I’m approached by them, it’s just messed up. But luckily I don’t have to really worry about that. I have a girlfriend now.”
He revealed that he met his mystery woman at a bookstore when he was looking for a field guide to Europe. “What was she looking for?” asked interviewer Jake Nevins. “A book,” Rob replied.
