‘The Rookie’ Sneak Peek: Chenford Runs Into Major Problems With Valentine’s Day Gifts (VIDEO)

Uh-oh, Chenford’s first Valentine’s Day since getting back together has hit a snag — for both Lucy (Melissa O’Neil) and Tim (Eric Winter) in the Monday, February 9, episode of The Rookie, and Swooon has an exclusive sneak peek.

As the clip begins, Lucy has called Tim’s sister Genny (Peyton List) for help. “Hey, remember eight weeks ago when I bought the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for Tim?” she asks, but Genny’s a bit frustrated by her morning commute and L.A. traffic. Lucy focuses her back on the, in her mind, more important matter at hand: the autographed baseball she got her boyfriend that she can’t find. “I think I re-hid it after a few tequilas,” she explains. “What do I do? I feel like he probably got me something amazing.”

Did he? Well, the answer to that comes when Tim calls his sister, and Genny tells Lucy she’ll call her back. Tim, too, needs help with a Valentine’s Day present — and no, he didn’t forget to buy one. Rather, he ordered the perfect one months ago, but “it never came, and they’re not responding to my emails. I need a last-minute present.”
