Is Emily Flippen married?
Yes, Emily got married to her longtime partner, Erik, in January 2025. Emily’s sister confirmed the news on Instagram the following month, writing, “In January, we celebrated @flippenemily and Erik’s marriage in #mckinneytexas . I was happy because Emily let me show off a lot of cleavage and because my speech totally destroyed Michael Raibick’s 😜.”

In March 2025, Emily posted about the wedding on her own page. She shared a selfie of her and Erik showing off their wedding bands, which she captioned, “Diamond value has depreciated 13-15% over the last few years, so investment decisions should be fully informed by love.”
When Emily first played Survivor, she admittedly had no plans to marry Erik in the future. “I had the mindset going into it that I never imagined myself getting married,” she admitted to Entertainment Weekly. “I thought there was a loss of identity associated with it and I would stop being me.”
However, in a deleted scene from Season 45, Emily revealed she was having a change of heart. “I feel like since I’ve been out here, I’ve just been reflecting on it a lot. These things are just more important to me. I’m thinking twice about it,” she shared.
While spending time talking about her life outside the game with her tribemates, Emily realized, “I spent the entire time talking about my partner. It was honestly embarrassing, but it gave perspective about what’s important in life. So when I got back from Survivor, we chatted about it and went to the courthouse.”
Who is Emily Flippen’s husband?
Very little is known about Emily’s husband. She did confirm in an interview with Parade that he is not a Survivor fan. “He doesn’t watch Survivor; he’s not a fan of the show,” she shared.
Erik and Emily live in Maryland. They were moving into their first home together while she was away filming Survivor Season 45.
