The Ohio Pod Squad couple revealed that they got divorced less than four months after their wedding. Amber and Jordan’s marriage was actually the shortest in Love Is Blind history.
While Jordan came into the Netflix dating experiment saying that dating someone with kids would be a dealbreaker, when he met single mother Amber in the pods, everything changed. The two got engaged in Episode 2, quickly becoming a fan-favorite couple of the season. During Episode 12, Jordan shocked viewers by saying “I do” to Amber, just days after meeting her daughter, Emma. So, what went wrong?
Below, we’re breaking down everything Jordan and Amber revealed about their divorce at the reunion, including why they split, and more.
Why did Jordan and Amber break up?
According to Jordan, his relationship with Amber was “unhealthy.” He shared, “I know that there were trust issues that [Amber] had from previous boyfriends, as well as, you know, some damage done by those guys. And I feel like, for me, I was constantly trying to repair a trust that I didn’t break.” However, Amber disagreed with his assessment, explaining, “It’s really difficult to trust somebody when they are only coming up on the weekends.” According to Amber, Jordan never moved in with her and Emma in Mount Vernon.
Jordan also pointed to multiple “incidents” throughout their four months together. “After we got married, I invited you to a wedding,” Jordan told Amber. “You showed up, missed the whole ceremony, got blacked out in the first 30 minutes, fell asleep at the table, and then cussed me out in the lobby, and I was the best man at the wedding. Like, that’s f**king humiliating.” Ultimately, Jordan claimed that he pulled the plug for his “mental health and wellbeing.”

Why didn’t Jordan and Amber live together after their wedding?
Amber revealed that Jordan never lived with her and Emma after they got married. While Jordan never confirmed why he decided to stay in Columbus while his wife and Emma lived in Mount Vernon, he claimed that he tried to make an effort to see them as much as possible. “When I did drive out to Mount Vernon during the week, I would drive out there after work, make dinner for you, wake up at five in the morning, and drive back for you to say, ‘Well, those visits don’t even count.'”
At the same time, Amber claimed that Jordan stayed in Columbus five or six nights a week because he wanted “to be out on Tuesday, Thursday, with boys.” As she put it, “If I’m with somebody I love, I don’t really care where I live. I’m not focusing on where my friends are, where the bars are. Why wouldn’t he want to be cuddled with his wife at the end of the night?”
What did Jordan and Amber say about his relationship with Emma?
Jordan made it very clear that Emma was not the reason he decided to break up with Amber. He told viewers, “We formed such an amazing bond.”
According to Amber, as sad as she was about Jordan leaving, she had to stay strong for Emma, who was “bawling her eyes out.” Amber told Jordan, “I don’t think you realized the commitment you made when you made it, and that’s where I don’t think you said you were ready.” She confessed, “Nights later, she’s asking me if we could make a memory box, so you’d come back, and I’m having to be the one that’s holding back tears and just being strong for my daughter.”
Ultimately, Amber stormed off the stage, yelling at Jordan, “Don’t f**king come in somebody’s life if you’re gonna do that! I told you!”
