It’s been one week since the dramatic Love Is Blind Season 10 reunion, and now, Devonta Anderson has finally broken his silence on his Love Is Blind experience, split from his fiancée, Brittany Wicker, his new relationship, and more.
On March 17, he took to Instagram with a four-page Notes app letter, getting everything off his chest after revealing that he not only broke up with Brittany after what would have been their wedding day, but he is expecting a baby with his new fiancée. Directly addressing the fans, Devonta began, “It’s honestly wild how many miserable people are upset that I chose not to stay in a relationship that wasn’t right for me.”
At the reunion, Brittany told viewers, “About two and a half weeks after filming finished, I still had not seen him; he had zero plans to see me.” When he did reach out, Devonta told her he was still all in. However, after he returned from “work trip” to Austin, which fans now know was really a trip to see a concert with some of the Pod Squad ladies, “he came over, and he said he felt like he couldn’t show up for me and he disappeared.”
Now, Devonta is sharing his side of the story. “The narrative that I ‘led Brittany on’ is just that, a narrative,” he said. “She’s a grown woman who could’ve left at any point.” He then added, “Was Brittany my usual type? No, not particularly… But that doesn’t equal hate.” He also claimed that the scene where he said he had never dated a woman of color was not shown in its “full context.”
According to Devonta, “Brittany and I didn’t work because what she needed and what I needed were fundamentally different.” Looking forward, he shared, “I want something natural, steady, easy, where two lives align, not something that constantly has to be managed.” He later shared that he grew from the opportunity and “learned to be more direct and to stop sacrificing my peace to keep others comfortable.”
Shifting his attention forward towards his new fiancée, who he hard-launched on March 17 as well, sharing a video of a date night at Polaris Fashion Place with a woman he referred to only as “mama.”

“And to the people speaking on my current relationship, mocking my partner, and even bringing up our future child, that’s just sad,” he wrote. “We as humans need to do better about judging people we’ve never met or had a real conversation with.”
Concluding his letter, he shared, “I am happy, I am in love, and I can’t wait to meet our baby… And for people saying I downgraded, that’s crazy, because clearly you haven’t seen her, she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen walk this planet, and what makes her even more beautiful is her heart and how she speaks about others in rooms they aren’t in. I love you baby, and no one could ever convince me otherwise… I’m glad the journey led me to you.”
