Cody Linley made a major public appearance on March 23 when he reunited with Miley Cyrus and other Hannah Montana stars to celebrate the premiere of the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special. The actor posed for red carpet photos solo and with his former costars.
On the beloved Disney Channel series, which aired from 2006 to 2011, Linley played Jake Ryan, Miley/Hannah’s (Cyrus) on/off boyfriend, with whom she finally breaks up with for good in Season 4 after he cheats on her.

While Linley keeps his personal life out of the public eye, he does not appear to be married. He seems to be single, as there are no public accounts of him currently being in a relationship.
Did Cody Linley date Demi Lovato?
While they did not have a long-lasting relationship, Demi Lovato and Linley briefly dated in either 2007 or 2008. In an interview with Seventeen, he recalled a disastrous date they went on.
“I was going to be picking Demi up around 7 p.m., and I didn’t get to pick her up until like 9,” Linley revealed. “I had an audition in downtown Hollywood, and after my audition, my car broke down in like the worst place.”
After he finally picked the singer up, he experienced more car troubles when the vehicle started making a “crazy noise,” forcing him to pull over and inspect what was happening. They ended up going to “a steak place” for dinner and extended the date when her family let her push back her curfew.
“Then we went to the grocery store and bought, like, toothpaste and tweezers, and then I managed to get her home safely,” Linley shared. “I was really worried that my car was going to break down again, and then I got lost on my way home. This is a long story, but eventually everything was OK. The car had to get professionally repaired the next day!”
The two appear to still be on friendly terms, as Linley posted a birthday tribute to Lovato in 2024. “Happy Birthday @ddlovato you bring so much happiness to others, thank for sharing your gifts with the world! 🎉❤️😁,” he wrote, alongside a photo of them together.
Linley also posted a message of support to Lovato after her near-fatal overdose in 2018. “I’m thinking of #DemiLovato and her family today,” he wrote on X. “Our family has been there, and we know how hard this is. We love you. @ddlovato and are here for you. One day at a time. #praying.”

Linley is mostly private about his love life. He was linked to Chloe Bridges after they starred in the 2009 film Forget Me Not, but it’s unclear if they actually had a real-life relationship. He was also rumored to have dated fellow Disney Channel star Nicole Gale Anderson in the early 2000s (again, unconfirmed).
