Steve Burton is enjoying his time off from General Hospital and embracing his “girl dad” era. After a recent trip to New York City with his wife, Michelle Lundstrom, the couple treated their daughters to a special day out in another city.
Burton’s youngest, Brooklyn, joined Lundstrom’s daughters, Lilah and Hannah, on their blended family outing in Nashville. Lundstrom and Burton, who are gearing up to celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary, shared rare photos of their kids during the trip.
“The most beautiful Afternoon tea with our little ladies @hermitagehotel,” Lundstrom captioned her joint Instagram post with Burton on April 11. They shared a selection of photos and videos from their family vacation.
Burton and Lundstrom posed alongside their girls, dressed in their spring best. Their daughters coordinated with pink dresses, and Lundstrom took an adorable selfie with the three girls in the bathroom. The chef also shared a sweet video of her and Burton sipping tea together.

When Burton announced his break from General Hospital, he said he was stepping away from the ABC soap because he’s “newly married and looking forward to spending some quality time with my family.” He told fans that he’s “grateful for all the support and will be back this summer.”
The Daytime Emmy winner doesn’t want to “just visit cities,” he wants to “experience” them. After his visit to New York, where Lundstrom is from, Burton said the Big Apple “just hits different when you’re with the right one and the best around.” For their Nashville trip, they decided to experience Music City with their kids.
Burton shares daughter Brooklyn with his ex-wife, Sheree Burton. He also has two older children, Makena and Jack. Lundstrom’s daughters are from a previous relationship. Brooklyn, Lilah, Hannah, as well as Burton’s son, Jack, joined the couple on a vacation to Hawaii two months after their wedding.
