Precourt revealed in a Medium post that he wrote in January 2021 that he was “first introduced” to East “through a mutual friend, and we have been dating ever since. We have many similar interests such as movies, music, cooking, and animals.”

The couple got married on August 14, 2021, in Malibu, California.
In an interview to promote her role in The Fabelmans, East opened up about her husband and their marriage. “We have a lot of the same interests, like surfing and watching movies, so a lot of our free time is spent either at Topanga Beach or at the New Beverly Cinema,” she told Content Mode. “It’s so fun being married to someone you feel best friends with, we have a lot of fun with each other and laugh a lot. He is the biggest blessing in my life, and his support in my career is so sweet and genuine.”
