‘The Valley’: Are Kristen Doute & Luke Broderick Still Together?
Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick‘s relationship was on the fast track from the moment they met in 2022. After their initial meeting, they quickly realized they wanted to start a family together, which ultimately led to their engagement in September 2024 and the birth of their daughter, Kaia, in June 2025.
The aftermath of Kaia’s birth is being documented on Season 3 of The Valley. As Kristen deals with postpartum struggles, being intimate with her fiancé is the last thing on her mind, which has begun to take a toll on the relationship.

Yes, Kristen and Luke are still together. The couple has been able to get past their post-baby issues, and they are still going strong in their relationship.
“We got through it,” Kristen told Swooon. “Kaia’s a little bit older now, and we got a better handle on being parents. We’re still going through it a little bit, but it’s so much better than before.”
Are Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick getting married?
Yes, Kristen and Luke are still planning to tie the knot, although she admitted that they still don’t have any set wedding plans. Right now, the nuptials will likely happen in 2027, Kristen shared.
“We’re still just parenting and finding myself again, and that party can wait,” she added. “But it will happen. Just not yet.”
How many kids do Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick have?
Kaia is Kristen and Luke’s only child, but she told Swooon that they hope to have another one one day.
“I would love to have one more, for sure,” Kristen dished. “I know Luke would, too. Hopefully that’s in our future. I’m not ready to get pregnant just yet. It will probably happen sooner than later, but I think once we get past the first year [with Kaia], we can revisit then.”
Kristen and Luke were expecting a child in 2023, but she miscarried in November of that year. Meanwhile, Luke revealed on The Valley that he once donated sperm to a sperm bank in college.
How did Kristen Doute meet Luke Broderick?
Kristen and Luke met at a mutual friend’s wedding. She was a bridesmaid, and he was a groomsman in the wedding party. The two had sex “right after” meeting at the wedding, where Kristen was newly single following her split from Alex Menache.
The relationship was long-distance at first, as Kristen was in California and Luke lived in Colorado. Kristen was admittedly hesitant about jumping into another relationship at the time, but she did, and even brought Luke as her date to Scheana Shay‘s wedding in August 2022.
Three months later, they launched a podcast together before going Instagram official in December 2022.
