Connor Tomlinson is already making history after his Love on the Spectrum departure.
During an interview with Swooon, Connor explained that he is a massive fan of “weaponry and literature.” On LOTS, he has shared his love for history, specifically British History. From heading to a Renaissance faire on a date to chatting about dire wolves, it’s clear that Connor is incredibly knowledgeable about the past. And he’s using his love of history to kick off a new chapter of his life.
On April 23, the beloved Netflix series star announced that he is launching a history podcast with the indie podcast network PAVE Studios. The PAVE CEO told Variety, “[Connor] has so much amazing knowledge about history and facts. It’s very apparent when you talk to him that he has a real passion for history.” Currently, the podcast does not have a title.
Tomlinson shared, “History is something I’ve been deeply passionate about my whole life. I’ve always believed that only by understanding where we’ve been can we truly make sense of where we are and avoid repeating the same mistakes going forward. The past is set in stone, the future unwritten.”

He continued, “PAVE and Rewind are giving me the opportunity to build a video podcast that truly brings these stories to life. With their ability to provide top-quality production behind the show, I get to focus on the storytelling and trust that the reach, production, and audience-building are being handled. I’m excited to not only share my knowledge with everyone on the podcast, but to do it alongside someone who’s just as passionate about this as I am, and to give my community a chance to see another side of me they haven’t gotten to explore yet.”
This news comes after Connor announced that he would be leaving Love on the Spectrum ahead of Season 5. He revealed to Swooon, “Well, actually, I’m going to be honest. I think I’m going to let someone else take the limelight. I feel like the world knows my story. The world’s gotten to know me, and it’s done me wonders. But I think it’s time to pass the torch.”
