Now, we have official confirmation on who Huang’s King of Lust and his leading lady are!
King of Lust is set to publish on April 27, 2027. While the plot of the final Kings of Sin book has been strictly under wraps, readers who have made it to the end of her newest novel, King of Gluttony, now know the two leads of the next and final book, which, in true Ana Huang fashion, was revealed on the final page of the novel. There, Huang teased, “He vowed to never fall in love…but some vows are meant to be broken.”

Who are the main characters in King of Lust?
On April 28, 2026, Huang revealed that the leads of her final Kings of Sin book would be Killian and Tate. Killian has appeared in King of Sloth, King of Envy, and King of Gluttony, leading to fan speculation that he would take the helm of the last book in the series. That said, Tate only appears for a moment in King of Gluttony, so no one could have seen this one coming!

Who is Killian Katrakis in Kings of Sin?
In the Anaverse, Killian is the CEO of Katrakis Group Corporation. During King of Gluttony, Huang told readers, “Killian Katrakis was the CEO of a major electronics conglomerate. Gorgeous, single, and richer than God, he was one of the city’s most sought-after bachelors. There was an ongoing bet amongst the single (and not-so-single) socialites in New York to see who could lock him down first. So far, no one had gotten even close.” Towards the end of the novel, Maya notes that Killian has “seemed distracted for months.”
Who is Tate in Kings of Sin?
Tate is introduced during the epilogue of King of Gluttony, when she enters Sebastian’s restaurant, opening with Chandler, a “major real estate developer,” who appears to be double her age. Sebastian tells readers, “She reminded me of a deer—a little skittish, but so gentle she automatically triggered my protective instincts.” Clearly, Killian’s got his eye on her, and she blushes at the sight of him. Sebastian explains, “I was tempted to warn her away from him—she seemed like a nice girl, and Killian ate nice girls alive—but Chandler was still standing there, oblivious to his date(?)’s distraction.”
What will King of Lust be about?
Other than the fact that “some vows are meant to be broken,” we don’t learn much about the plot of King of Lust from Huang’s teaser. Could vows indicate a wedding or divorce plot? Only time will tell!
