What To Know

  • Clarke Carraway and Taylor Williams navigate a long-distance relationship in Love Island: Beyond the Villa Season 2.
  • The season was filmed from November 2025 to January 2026.
  • In an interview with Swooon, Clarke and Taylor reveal their relationship status now and future plans.

Clarke Carraway and Taylor Williams are one of only two Love Island USA couples who have remained together since Season 7. (Actually, they’re one of three if you count Iris Kendall and TJ Palma, who rekindled their relationship outside the villa.) Regardless, Love Island: Beyond the Villa Season 2 showed Clarke and Taylor navigating their long-distance romance in the real-world.

In the finale episode of the spinoff, Clarke and Taylor were hopeful about their future. Clarke had spent the season, which was filmed from November 2025 to January 2026, debating whether she should move from her North Carolina hometown to Los Angeles for more career opportunities. Taylor, meanwhile, was settled in Oklahoma for vet school.  In the end, Clarke decided to remain in North Carolina to get her degree in psychology. She and Taylor agreed to see each other at least once a month — but where do they stand now, and what’s next?

Just ahead of Beyond the Villa‘s April 2026 premiere, Clarke and Taylor opened up to Swooon in a joint interview about their romance and future plans. Clarke said that, at first, they were unsure if they should put their then-new relationship on screen again. “Because all of us got hate, but some people got more hate than others, and it’s hard to put yourself back in the spotlight and in front of the camera when that’s not something that I don’t think any of us want to deal with,” she explained. But I think it’s just a thing of showcasing we’re in a real relationship.”

She added, “We go through real things, as far as long distance and navigating that, but we also are very much in love and growing as individuals and together.”

Spending about a month together off-camera contributed to their decision to return. Clarke stayed with Taylor in Oklahoma after he was thrown from his horse during a rodeo competition in late August. “I would say it helped a lot, just because of my injury, and that grew us stronger before we even decided to do this show, or the talk of the show was about to happen,” Taylor said.

Months after wrapping production, traveling together and “integrating [their] families into one” are two of Clarke and Taylor’s priorities. “I think we’re just continuing to plan for the future,” Clarke said. “So not only, ‘Hey, When can you come see me? When can I come see you?’ But, ‘What is life gonna look like for us in two years when you’re done with school? Where do we plan on moving?’ Like, having those hard discussions that are important.”
