Ahead of Season 4, Demari’s current match, Marissa George from Love Is Blind, told Swooon, “I didn’t know their history. I’ve never seen her on the TV show, either, so I didn’t know anything about them. Had I known, maybe I wouldn’t have pushed so hard. I just thought it would be fun.”
Last season on Perfect Match, Bachelor Nation exes Clayton Echard and Rachel Recchia entered the competition, rekindling their romance for just one night before breaking up all over again. Now that another set of reality TV exes is entering the competition for Season 4, fans are wondering whether they, too, will revisit their connection, since anything is possible on Perfect Match.

When did Demari and Bri break up?
Demari and Bri broke up in February 2025, after less than a year together. At the time, Bri claimed that someone slid into her DMs, alleging that Demari had cheated on her. Bri wrote on social media, “In the month of February I cleared a fashion brand deal, received another ‘coming to you as a woman DM,’ buried my grandmother who was killed in my hometown…”

Why did Demari and Bri break up?
While Bri claimed that Demari had cheated, the two never gave an official reason behind their split. On February 15, 2025, Demari posted a video, revealing, “I appreciate every single experience that me and Bri have went through, the love, the laughter, the wins, the losses. All of those things.” During the video, he confessed, “A person who I said I loved used their platform to try what felt like to me to create a safe space to diminish my character. What happened between Demari and Bri on Too Hot to Handle?
During Season 6 of Too Hot to Handle, Demari found himself in a little bit of a love triangle between Bri and Valentina Rueda Velez, whom he kissed despite Lana’s strict hands-off rules. Ultimately, Bri forgave Demari, and the two started officially dating. The duo even went on to win the season, splitting the $150,000 prize in August 2024.
Do Demari and Bri get back together on Perfect Match?
We’ll have to wait until the Perfect Match Part 2 to find out if the exes rekindle their relationship this season. So far, Demari has been matched with Love Is Blind star Marissa George. In the preview for the series, Bri kisses another man, who appears to be Dave Hand from Married at First Sight: Australia.
