‘Summer House’: Did Kyle Cheat on Amanda While Married? The Rumors, Explained
The breakdown of Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula‘s marriage was filmed for Bravo’s new Summer House spinoff, In the City, which premieres on May 19. Kyle and Amanda have been documenting their relationship on Bravo for nearly a decade, and there have been plenty of ups and downs over the years.
Before the two got married in 2021, Kyle admitted that he “blacked out and woke up with a girl in my bed” on a guys’ trip in 2018. But there have also been post-wedding cheating rumors that continued to be a source of contention between the couple over the years.

Did Kyle Cooke cheat on Amanda Batula while married?
Although Kyle has been caught in some compromising situations, he has maintained that he did not cheat on Amanda after they tied the knot. He and Amanda both denied a rumor that he cheated on her in 2022.
In 2025, Amanda claimed that her husband fell asleep at a fan’s house and didn’t come home until 6:30 in the morning. However, he told People that he did not sleep at a fan’s place. “I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after-party,” Kyle said. “I don’t use anything to keep myself wired, so I think I ended up falling asleep on a couch, and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m. Do I regret the situation? Absolutely. But that’s the truth and full extent of what happened.”

Perhaps the worst rumor, though, was in November 2023, when an eyewitness claimed they saw Kyle making out with a blonde woman at a bar in Charleston and that he left with her at the end of the night. The eyewitness shared videos that seemingly supported their claims (more on that below).
Southern Charm star Leva Bonaparte, who owns the bar where Kyle was spotted, denied the allegations that he was kissing another woman at the establishment. “Kyle and our friend were simply catching up on life since she now has a family and has established herself in her profession,” Bonaparte said, per Page Six. “Kyle was congratulating her, this was purely a friendly interaction.”
After Kyle and Amanda announced their separation in January 2026, he insisted that cheating was not the reason for the split. “I can tell you I was not physically or emotionally unfaithful,” Kyle said on Watch What Happens Live. Of rumors that he’d been unfaithful to his wife with fans, he added, “The pictures I’ve seen are with people who are my friends that are mistaken for random people.”

The video shows a man (seemingly Kyle) interacting with a blonde woman in a dark bar. At one point, he puts his arm around her and then rubs her arm.
The video did not show Kyle kissing the mystery woman, but the witness claimed in subsequent messages, “Kyle was making out. Basically like all over this one female in the corner.”
Did Amanda Batula cheat on Kyle Cooke with West Wilson?
In March 2026, Batula and Summer House costar West Wilson confirmed rumors that they were romantically involved. This came two months after Kyle and Amanda publicly announced their split, but sparked speculation about whether there was overlap in the relationships.
West clarified in April, “There was no overlap. I know there’s a thousand different theories on the internet right now, but that is one thing that for sure did not happen.”
He reiterated that “everyone was single” when his relationship with Amanda began. “We realized things are maybe a bit serious in February, and that’s when this all started,” he concluded. “And there’s not a whole lot more to it than that.”
West and Amanda have mostly been tight-lipped about the situation so far, but will share their side of the story during the three-part Summer House reunion, which airs on May 26, June 2, and June 9.
