Parvati Shallow and Mae Martin are keeping fans guessing about the status of their relationship after attending the live finale of Survivor Season 50 together. Despite Martin publicly discussing a “bad breakup” in September 2025, Shallow shared several photos with them on her Instagram Story during finale night.
“Just a couple Survivor fans attending the live finale for Season 50,” Shallow captioned a shot of the pair. She also posted a photo of them with Season 50 winner Aubry Bracco.

Shallow and Martin have been keeping the exact nature of their relationship on the DL these days. In January 2025, the Survivor Season 16 winner referred to her romance with Martin as “an in flux situation.”
She explained that she was exploring what exactly she wanted from a partner, telling People, “I’m traveling so much and having these really fun, amazing adventures, so I’m in this place of asking myself, what do I really want?”
Later that year, Martin seemingly confirmed that they had broken up with Shallow during production of their show Wayward in 2024. “I had a big breakup during filming,” Martin revealed. “I think maybe every day I told 200 crew members exactly what I was feeling and going through. But it was a bonding thing.”

But shortly after Martin gave that interview, fans started noticing them in social media posts with Shallow again. Regardless of whether the two are officially back together, they definitely appear to be on good terms these days either way.
How did Parvati Shallow and Mae Martin meet?
Shallow met Martin after she slid into the comedian’s DMs. “My sister went to Mae’s comedy show here in Los Angeles and Mae is a Survivor fan,” Shallow shared in 2024. “Mae mentioned something about Survivor, and so I just slid into Mae’s DMs, as any woman would do.”
Shallow was previously married to fellow Survivor star John Fincher. She filed for divorce in 2021 and came out as queer when she debuted her relationship with Martin in March 2023.
How many kids does Parvati Shallow have?
Shallow has just one child, a daughter named Ama, who was born in 2018. She is coparenting with Fincher, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2021.
“There are some relationships that I want to preserve and keep intact at this point,” she told Entertainment Weekly when she released her memoir in 2025. “I have worked very hard to make my coparenting relationship work with my daughter’s dad, so that one [I didn’t discuss in the book]. I really was very thoughtful about the stories that I put in around that situation.”
