‘Love Island USA’: All About KC Chandler, His Nursing Home Job & More

Kuman “KC” Chandler had one of the more interesting starts to his Love Island USA Season 8 journey. When it came time to couple up for the first time, none of the girls chose KC, shocking him. But he eventually paired up with Aniya Harvey, which he was happy about in the end. “I take some time to warm up, but I promise you, I’m funny,” he told viewers in a confessional on Day 1.

What is KC Chandler’s age?

KC is 23 years old. At this point in his life, the Islander “love[s] [his] freedom.” He added, “But if the right woman were to come, then I would give that up for the right person.”

Where is KC Chandler from?

KC is from Fresno, California, where he also went to high school and played basketball. He then played at the next level at Fresno City College. He later transferred to Reedley College, where he played his last game in February 2025.

What is KC Chandler’s job?

KC is a nursing assistant hoping to become a nurse practitioner one day. He’s currently employed at a nursing home. “I love helping people,” he told his fellow Islanders in Episode 1. “I do hard work. It ain’t the glitz and glamour. I’m giving people showers. I’m changing people, you know? But I think my heart is big enough for it.”
