On Monday, June 8, 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 3 returns with the couples’ first fancy, etiquette-forward dinner at Thornbury Castle. In Swooon‘s exclusive preview, Guillermo Rojer makes a shocking confession that leaves Kara Leona in tears.
The sneak peek picks up after Episode 1’s group therapy on the lawn, with all six couples dressed to the nines participating in champagne toasts. To work on their connection and communication, therapist Persia Lawson guides them to make direct eye contact while giving a compliment to their partner.
Swooon‘s exclusive preview reveals the conversation between Kara and Guillermo, a married couple who separated on Season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, but seemingly reconnected at the season’s Tell All. With a three-year-old son back home, the two joined the cast of The Last Resort to try to keep their family together.
“The person that I fell in love with, it had been the most beautiful person I ever met in my life, and that is you” Guillermo tells Kara. Then, Kara is asked what made her fall for Guillermo. Telling the rest of the cast she is about to cry, Kara tells Guillermo, “I just felt like I had really found, like, a good person.”
“So why don’t you look at each other for a moment?” Persia guides them, “I want you to both give each other a compliment, something sincere and something that you really do mean.”
“I believe, Kara, that you’re a very authentic person, and actually friendly, and beautiful in the inside.”
While things appear to be taking a positive turn for the couple, Guillermo is asked, “Do you feel proud when you look at [Kara] and think that’s the mother of my child?”
After a hefty pause, Guillermo shocks Kara and the rest of the cast by firmly responding, “No.” As Kara defeatedly sheds a tear, Patrick Mendes whispers to Thaís Ramone, whose jaw dropped at the confession, “Damn.”
