Alicia Carmody gets an unexpected surprise from fiancé Billy Kitsilis in The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season finale. In this exclusive sneak peek, Alicia is shocked to see that Billy has set up something special for her outside of the hotel they’re staying in.
“Did you do a romantic thing?” she questions, as he leads her toward two chairs surrounded by candles. There’s also a bouquet of red roses waiting for her. “Is this for me or did someone else do it?” an incredulous Alicia wonders. “Oh my god! Bill, you’ve never done this. It’s weirding me out.”
Noticeably nervous, Billy admits, “I’m weirded out, too.” In a confessional, Alicia adds, “I don’t remember the last time Billy made a romantic gesture, so I’m like … did you do something wrong? Who’s this for?”
She reiterates this to her longtime love, whom she’s been engaged to for nearly a decade. “This is big because you’ve never done anything special like this, ever.”
Bill then tells Alicia, “You and I are sometimes like two ships in the night. We kind of go different directions. Sometimes you want this, I want that, and we get caught up in stuff that’s not important. I feel like it holds us back. I just feel like … we’ve had an interesting journey.”
From inside the hotel, Rosie DiMare is looking on. “Something’s happening,” she notices. “Oh my god, it’s Alicia and Bill. Is Billy doing something romantic for Alicia right now?!”
The rest of Billy’s romantic gesture will be shown during the Season 1 finale on June 14. The season continues with a two-part reunion on June 21 and June 28. Plus, RHORI has already been renewed for a second season, with filming likely set to begin soon. The cast for Season 2 has not been confirmed yet.
