Nick, 32, who’s been in the reality TV world for half a decade, is one of 14 participants who’ve put their faith in the Married at First Sight matchmaking experts to find their perfect spouse. Once Nick says “I do” to a stranger at the altar, he and his wife will be filmed for weeks as they live together and figure out if they should continue their marriage or end it.

What reality shows has Nick Uhlenhuth been on?
In terms of reality dating, Nick went looking for love on Perfect Match Season 1, which aired in 2023. He was no stranger to the screen at that point, since he made his debut two years later in The Circle Season 3.
Viewers of the social media competition show first got to know Nick as a lacrosse-loving tech guy from Seattle, Washington, who resides in Austin, Texas. He got a computer science degree from M.I.T., which he strategically didn’t tell his fellow The Circle participants. He played as a less smart version of himself, so people would consider him an underdog. Nick ended up in fifth place.
Most recently, Nick competed on Netflix’s Battle Camp, in which reality show alums reside in a remote camp where a “wheel of misfortune” decides if they go home amidst physical challenges. He was eliminated in Episode 9, just ahead of the finale.

In case you were curious, Nick’s reality TV fame didn’t make him quit his day job. Per his LinkedIn, Nick has worked as a product manager at a company called Shoot360 since 2022.
What happened to Nick Uhlenhuth on Perfect Match?
Between The Circle and Battle Camp, Nick participated in a very different kind of reality show with Perfect Match. During the show’s first season, Nick paired up with The Circle’s Savannah Palacio, Too Hot to Handle’s Izzy Fairthorne, and The Circle France’s Ines Tazi, but none of his connections lasted.
By the end, though, Nick made it to the final five couples once he coupled up with Love Is Blind Season 1’s Lauren “LC” Chamblin at the last minute.

Why did Nick and Lauren break up after Perfect Match?
Though Nick and LC hit it off, the timing of their match made them one of the weaker couples. “I think it would be kind of insane for us to be like, ‘Perfect match! He’s the one!’ I’m not going to say something I don’t feel is genuine, and I’m not going to say it just because we’re here,” LC admitted, per GoodtoKnow.
Nick was on the same page, explaining, “We talked about it, but we can’t say we are the perfect match. I think it’d be ridiculous.”
Further, Nick was worried about dating long-distance. “It’s just, like, an extra roadblock on top of not really having much time to get to know each other yet,” he said. Once the show aired in March 2023, People reported that Nick and Lauren weren’t together.
Plus, earlier that year, Nick and Bachelorette star Katie Thurston were linked after spending New Year’s Eve together. According to Us Weekly, they were rumored to have been spotted kissing, but they never confirmed the nature of their relationship.
