Less than a month after finalizing her divorce with Gino Palazzolo, the 90 Day Fiancé star shocked her viewers by posting photos of her boyfriend and the father of her daughter, Matt Branistareanu, getting down on one knee with a ring box in hand to pop a very important question.
In the caption, she wrote, “He got down on one knee to propose… and I said YES / A huge thank you to @ferreirovco for creating such a unique ring. Looking at the proposal photos, it seems like the duo is officially engaged, despite the 90 Day Fiancé star having previously claimed that she would never get married again. However, going through the full carousel of photos reveals a different story entirely.
On the final slide, Jasmine wrote, “Matt got down on one knee. Not to ask me to marry him, but to ask if we could adopt a Chihuahua. I said yes.”

In the comments, fans and 90 Day Fiancé alums alike were convinced that the couple had actually gotten engaged. Darcey Silva, who appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? with the couple, commented, “Aww congratulations so beautiful!”
Cortney Reardanz, who befriended Jasmine through the franchise and their Florida ties, wrote, “Congrats,” before quickly commenting again, “Omg I just saw the last slide ! lol.”
Turns out, an engagement may not be in the cards for the couple. At least, it wasn’t right now. Still, their family is growing as Jasmine, Matt, Matilda, and their dog, Coco, will be welcoming a new furry friend into their lives soon.
