LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian got together in 2009 after having an affair on the set of their TV movie Northern Lights. At the time, she was married to Dean Sheremet, and he was married to Brandi Glanville. Yes, the couple is still very much together. In fact, her April post coincided with her and Cibrian’s 15th wedding anniversary, as Rimes revealed she and her husband were able to “step away for three days” to celebrate and escape the tough times at home.
“Day by day, we walk hand in hand through the rollercoaster of life… and god, i’m so grateful that it’s with each other,” Rimes added. “We’ve been through so much in our 15 years as husband and wife. We know how to ride the waves, hold each other in times of need, mend what needs mending. I’m so proud of what we have created together. 15 years is just the beginning.”

She’s also been sharing new photos with Cibrian in July as he’s joined her on her summer tour. In May, Rimes confirmed via a Substack post that the cause of the previous family stress was due to she and Cibrian having “a parent in rehab after going through a stroke.”

No, Rimes and Cibrian never had any children of their own, but they have a blended family with his ex-wife, Glanville, whom he shares sons Jake and Mason with. When Rimes and Cibrian got married, Mason was seven and Jake was four.
During a May 2026 appearance on the Today show, Rimes clarified that she was always OK with being a stepmother and not having children of her own. “I’m kind of satisfied with what we have going on,” she confirmed.
“People always assumed, ‘She must not be able to have kids because she’s not having kids,'” the country singer added. “I’m like, ‘That has nothing to do with it.’ I just felt so strange that there had to be a reason other than I don’t want kids. That should be reason enough. I don’t need anything to satisfy my ego of, ‘This is my kid that I birthed or came from me.’ It just didn’t cross my mind. I was really happy helping raise his children and they’re such great kids.”
