Georgia McCann’s past relationship with Omar Zaki is still coming back to haunt her a bit on Season 2 of Next Gen NYC, but she’s moved on from that romance with someone new. The Bravo star hard-launched her new relationship on Instagram with a blurry photo in October 2025, and she’s opened up more about their love on recent episodes of Next Gen NYC.

Below, we rounded up everything to know about Georgia’s new man, Prez Thomas, and the pair’s relationship. Plus, a refresher on what went down with Georgia and Omar before their eight-month romance ended in 2024.

What does Prez Thomas do for a living?

Georgia revealed on Next Gen NYC that Prez is in a “crypto-adjacent” career, making it clear that she’s not in the same situation as she was with Omar, who owned a crypto startup company and found himself dealing with some legal issues. “I actually know what my boyfriend is doing this time around,” Georgia told Ava Dash.

Specifically, Prez is the Chief Marketing Officer for Fact Machine, according to his LinkedIn. Per the company’s website, “We pitch a question, you vote, predict how the crowd will land, and earn rewards if you’re right. Every question starts with a vote. Just pick your side and predict what percentage of people will agree with you. Nail the prediction, get paid! All at no cost.” Prez has been with the company since July 2025.

Georgia explained her boyfriend’s job in layman’s terms on the show. “He is building a, like, betting platform, and it’s opinion-based,” she explained. “So, they run a poll every day, and it’s like, ‘Is Mamdani’s wife hot? Yes or no?’ Like, you’re kind of betting on what you think the majority opinion is. They got a lot of funding from, like, crypto places because he used to kind of be in crypto.”

Prior to that, Prez was the co-founder of Dank Bank, “a fractionalized meme exchange where you can trade ownership in viral internet memes just like your Grandpappy use to trade Pink Sheets on his BarcaLounger,” per LinkedIn. He also founded Foundery, a company that “breaks barriers in turning ideas into reality by congregating skilled individuals around world-changing visions” in 2017, and HearToThere, “a company that produced special bone-conduction headsets to assist visually impaired individuals when navigating urban environments,” in 2016.

Prez graduated from Babson College with a degree in marketing. He also took part in the MIT Launch program, which “brings together high school entrepreneurs from all over the world in a 4-week program each summer to grow their entrepreneurial skills while launching real startups,” in 2017.

How did Georgia McCann meet her boyfriend?

“We met at a dinner party around six months ago,” Georgia revealed in Episode 2 of Next Gen NYC Season 2, which was filmed in late September/early October. This puts their meeting at some point in March or April 2025. “And then that gave birth to this beautiful, fiery romance, which we’re in the beginnings of.”

Like Georgia, Prez is from New York. They are only one week apart in age. He is also family friends with Next Gen NYC Season 2 star Rowan Henchy, whose mom is Brooke Shields. “I wouldn’t necessarily say we summered together, but he would always kind of be around, growing up,” Rowan explained.

Why did Georgia McCann and Omar Zaki split?

Georgia confirmed her split from Omar during the Season 1 finale of Next Gen NYC, which aired in July 2025. The breakup had actually taken place about seven months earlier in December 2024.

On the show, Georgia called the split a “shocking turn of events,” as earlier in the same episode, she moved into Omar’s apartment. Things took a turn in the relationship during the former couple’s holiday trip to Singapore, where a fight ensued.

“The breakup with Omar was logistically rough because we were living together and the end was quite messy,” she shared. “I’m doing well now and focusing on my dream life and not [living] vicariously through someone else.”

She posted a TikTok at the time of the breakup, which was shared on Next Gen NYC. In the clip, she said, “Life is so funny ’cause one day you’re living in a $10,000 monthly apartment, you’re with this man who you think you’re going to marry, and [then] you get into a fight one night.”

Georgia later told Us Weekly in August 2025 that she and her ex were “not the right fit” and confirmed she was “over it” at that point.
